I was in town visiting and hurt my neck extremely badly. I couldnt move my head, was dizzy, nauseated, and had a horrible migraine as a result. I was worried about even being able to travel home the next day. I called Dr. Geherens emergency number (it was a Sunday) and he offered to meet me at his office within 20 minutes. He saw me and spent time to work on my neck and make sure I left as comfortable as possible. Not only did he essentially allow me to function again, but also make it home the next day comfortably. Im not sure how I would have made it without his help. Its really incredible to find someone who cares so much about the well-being of the patients he sees. I WAS NOT a current patient, and since Im from out of town not even a potential patient. He interrupted a beautiful summer Sunday to come in and help me, for no reason at all, but because he cared and obviously truly is passionate about the healing and relief he can provide. Intention drives execution and in that fact alone Id recommend Dr. Geheren to anyone in the VA Beach area.

Everyone is very courteous and youll be treated with the utmost respect. The massage is absolutely WONDERFUL too!! I always feel like a new person when I walk out of Dr. Geherens office!

I started going because of a car accident. I suffered lower and right sided back pain from being rearended. He immediately started treatment, and after a few months of going I have been able to live normal again. Everytime I came in with pain I have left feeling much better. The staff is super friendly, and the doctor is great at what he does. Their masseuse is very skilled and really works out whatever pain your having. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Omg! He came in on his day off to help me. I was literally walking side ways people. Back was killing me. He came in on his day off to help me! What doctor you know would do that?? Took his time, did an adjustment and i got immediate relief. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone that is looking for a place that wants to help you and not just trying to tap into your wallet. I cant wait for go back for my next adjustment. LOVE IT!!

Got a new life but it wasnt a good one.... Lost 12 lbs in 2 weeks and ended up with pain in every joint in my body .... Seeing a specialist I wish I had never gone to this Dr..... So Sad had such a good life before this experience....Also my husband got an adjustment and was not happy with his experience as he saw flashes of light giving him instant pain in his neck. Response from the Dr was I might have over exerted your neck?

I have been coming here for years and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend with Dr. Geheren! If youre not comfortable with some adjustment technique he is quick to offer alternatives...doesnt push you, and has lots of recommendations for activities you can do. Adjusted me throughout my pregnancy as well! He also has a good bedside manner and doesnt rush through appointments; his office is simple, relaxed.
