I absolutely adore Dr. Sims and his team. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. From the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist himself, you are always greeted with a smile. The hygienist offered advice the last visit I had, which I took, and my most recent exam was excellent. I also appreciate that the staff remembers who I am and engage in meaningful conversation with me rather than the trivial. Being a teacher, I appreciate the staff looking for the best appointment times to accommodate my schedule. I have several issues, from pockets in my gums to tarter, and both the hygienist and Dr. Sims take great care to check on these issues. They are sensitive to my comfort and are even kind and understanding when it comes to my fear of intensive scraping and needles. They always go out of their way to make sure I am comfortable and secure. In addition, by heeding the advice and going to my regular check-ups, my exams have improved along with my dental problems. I can go on and on with my praise of Dr. Sims and his team. You would be remiss not to see this office for your dental needs.

I began seeing Dr. Sims when my father was stationed in Virginia Beach with the Navy in 1987. He now takes care of my childrens teeth! He is honest and straight forward and does the best humanly possible to make his patients happy. No one is perfect, but I feel that every interaction Ive had with him and his staff since I was 12 has been exceptional! Yes, Ive had a filling he put in fall out too, and he replaced it free of charge. He always has seen me at a moments notice and is always accomodating. To the people that have complaints on here, all I can say is that dentistry in not a perfect science and anytime you work with humans, there will be errors. You cant please everyone! I have had years of nothing but good experiences with Dr. Mike and his staff. That includes my parents, siblings, and my children!! ------Andrea

Dr. Sims is wonderful! I had a very bad experience with another dentist a few years ago and was terrified to even make an appointment. After a friend recommended Dr. Sims, I made an appointment. I was very impressed with his kind and accommodating staff from that initial call. I have since had a lot of dental work done in the past 4 months. Kim was always able to fit me in despite my complicated schedule. Two weeks ago I had a tooth that needed an emergency root canal and Dr. Sims was able to come in on his day off to get it done during my lunch break. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of this practice and their concern for my dental health. I highly recommend this practice! I thank them immensely for making me feel comfortable with going to the dentist again.

We are new to the area and needed to find a new dentist. I pass by Dr. Sims office on my way to work everyday and saw that he is an orthodontist as well. I figured why not try them out since my daughter will need braces, its a one stop shop. We made our appointment for me and my two kids to get cleanings and they were able to get us all in at the same time. Everyone was very nice right off the bat. The office is beautiful and has a kids room with a large TV and some toys. Each room has a TV mounted on the ceiling above the chair, great for a distraction. Dr. Sims was very nice and even went over some future options for my own teeth. My kids were happy, which made me happy. Overall, Im very glad I chose to go to Dr. Sims and will continue to bring my family there!

Dr. Sims has been my dentist for over 20 years and I absolutely would recommend him to anyone. When I had my 2 children many moons ago, I thought I was being the "good parent" and taking them separately to a pediatric dentist and continued seeing Dr. Sims for myself. After many tears spent from my daughter over fear of that dentist, I decided to try and see if Dr. Sims could ease her mind a little more. Well, needless to say, thats where we stayed. He did a beautiful job on her braces many years later and even caught something crazy we had no idea about going on in my sons jaw and immediately had us in an oral surgeons office. I love the staff, I love Dr. Sims, and cannot say enough about how great they are.

My Family just joined Dr. Sims practice. We are extremely happy. The entire family can go there. My son who is in braces and my daughter who will need them can have continued care in one office with one doctor. That is FABULOUS! Dr. Sims is very caring, gentle with my children and has a great personality as well. The office was able to get my son in afterschool and my daughter in before school. They have ideal hours for families with school aged children. His staff is very professional but at the same time personable and humorous too.... I am totally satisfied with their sevices and for once in my life I look forward to visiting the dentist!!! I would recommend this office!!

I had a frenectomy today. I thought the procedure was going to be painful. I have had dental work before and I do not like shots in the mouth, but hey, who does? However the numbing shots I received today didnt hurt at all. I was amazed. The procedure went well and I am pretty much pain free. I was super impressed with Dr. Sims. The main reason I went to him is because he was referred to me a few years ago when my son needed a retainer. He was honest, friendly and up front about everything. Now my son wears braces and he takes excellent care of him. I am very pleased with Dr. Sims and his staff! I will definitely be using his services in the future!

Ive been coming here for YEARS, and I couldnt image going anywhere else! I moved a little further away, but still take the drive to go there because I am so comfortable there. The staff is very friendly and you really feel like they know you, because lets face it, some people absolutely fear the dentist. Not here you wont! You can watch TV while they are doing your cleanings and there is even a video game room for kids! Dr. Sims is very smart and easy-going and the dental hygienists are very educated on all that they do! If you dont go here, then, change your dentist ASAP. :)

Coming from a family that never went to the dentist, i was very nervous about going for the first time. However, Dr. Sims and his team make it seem like home away from home. Theyre so compassionate and understanding. Ive had a wide variety of procedures done by Dr. Sims since my first visit (everything from cleanings to fillings to root canals to extractions). Now, hes working on perfecting my smile and dr. sims has made this experience as painless and helpful as every other procedure. Seriously, if you need a densist look no further. Dr. Sims is your man.

I would give the man 100 stars for his patience, accomodation, curtesy to others and professionalism! He is a people person and loves to help others. I first visited the office after my front tooth chipped, he fixed me up in no time and helped me with the bill, I was college student working as a waiter at the time with no funds and Dr. Sims helped me through. My next 2 visits were for wisdom teeth. He had 2 teeth out in less than 20 minutes with absolutely no complications. I have never been to a more gentle dentist EVER!!
