I had back surgery in May of 2012 and was released to go back to work in August, 2012. Since that time, my back and accompanying pain(s) have increasingly gotten worse and worse. I had to get a cane. I had to get a handicapped sticker so I didnt have to park in the "south forty." I have gotten to the point of not being able to walk more than 50-75 feet without pain developing in my lower back and horrific pain in my groin area. I would have to sit for 5-10 minutes. When I got up the pain(s) may or may not continue. They was sporadic at the worst and totally unpredictable at best. During all this I had developed the body aches and pains one gets when one has the flu. However, I didnt have the flu. To make this a little shorter, I was relegated to visiting a pain management doctor who put me on a quasi-narcotic to manage the body aches and Ive been on it ever since. But I had nothing that would handle the groin pains nor the back pains. My life consisted pretty much of sleeping in my recliner, sitting in my recliner during the day (most of the day) and sometimes not seeing the outside world for 3 or 4 days at a time. Then, my wife suggested I go to a chiropractor. I didnt want to go to a bone cracker/crusher. Thats NOT what I needed. Finally, I relented and was given a list of 3 or 4 chiropractors that were approved by our insurance company. I chose Dr. Mike Bastron because his office was closest to our home and I didnt want to waste gas going to a doctor I knew I didnt need to go to. WELL, was I ever wrong! Dr. Mike Bastron is EXACTLY what I needed. After the first visit, I began to feel better and was able to walk a little. I had my 5th traction and adjustment today and I will say, I havent felt this good in almost 16 months. I can now walk upwards of 30 minutes, without the need of a cane and without the groin pains. I still sleep most of the time in the recliner but Im experimenting in sleeping in bed and I can make it about 3-5 hours. As far as Im concerned, my progress is phenomenal and is getting better with each adjustment. And I will keep going to him as long as possible to make sure my back and body stay in alignment. Plus, Dr. Mikes "bedside manor" is one of true concern for the comfort and success of each patient and his love for chiropractic has been evident every time I go. I now refer all my friends to Dr. Mike.

He doesn’t just put a Band-Aid on it - he treats the cause of my pain not the symptoms... Being 5’11” tall and long torso’d, I’ve had back problems all my life. I’ve seen a number of chiropractors over the years and I always felt great immediately after the appointment but within a day or so, my pain would resurface and I would feel no different than I had before the adjustment. However, since seeing Dr. Bastron, I’ve been feeling wonderful! This is partly due to his comprehensive treatments but also because he takes the time to educate me. He tries to help me get to the root of the problem and not just slap a Band-Aid on it. I’ve learned to how to sit, stand, and lift correctly. I know it all sounds like common sense but there were a lot of postures I was subconsciously doing incorrectly to relieve my back pain. I’ve also learned various back exercises to strengthen my core muscles and back stretches to increase my flexibility. All this has helped me tremendously. I can say I no longer get back spasms that leave me immobile for 2 weeks. Dr. Bastron genuinely cares for my well being and truly wants to help me get better. Hes not pushy and doesnt try to sell me long-term treatment programs like some of the other chiropractors Ive seen. I know he wants me to get well soon and stay well. I would highly recommend Dr. Bastron to my family and friends!

My husband & I have been going to Dr. Bastron for almost 12 years, and he is by far the best chiropractor we have ever used. He is thorough, knowledgable about all aspects of your health, and treats the whole person. He has helped me through back issues that required disc surgery, recovery from joint replacements, and has always been helpful in sorting out my medical problems. He has helped my husband through multiple back/neck issues as well. We can almost always see him the same day when needed, and he is attentive and open to doing what is need to make us feel better and stay as mobile as possible. The office staff is delightful as well, and always helpful. Aside from being an excellent chiropractor, he is a genuinely nice and caring person, which is not always the case. We would both highly recommend Dr. Bastron without hesitation, and in my opinion, you will not find anyone better!

I originally picked him based on his rating, and he by far has impressed me. I suffer from migraines and back/neck problems from a car accident years ago. He helped me with my migraines by adjusting my neck. His techniques are amazing, I had no clue they existed. Ive been to other chiropractors and they did nothing compared to Dr. Bastron. I love how flexible theyre with making appointments, they even fit me in if they dont have an opening, they find a way. Hes by far the best chiropractor experience I have ever had. Not only that, but he really cares about your needs over making a buck. Other chiropractors wanted to do expensive ex-rays, but not Dr. Bastron, he knew exactly what was wrong without doing any ex-rays. If youre looking for a chiropractor, Bastron Chiropractic is the one for you!

I love Dr. Mike!! I am able to schedule an appointment within a reasonable time frame. With minimal waiting in the reception room, he brings me in, finds problem area(s)and adjusts me with minimal discomfort and often huge pain relief. In addition, I appreciate his ethical business practices. I have seen several chiropractors in the past that schedule numerous x-rays, visits and more follow up x-rays in what I feel is an attempt to drain my insurance benefits and make more money. Dr. Mike DOES NOT operate this way. He is knowledgable in his field and suggests helpful things I can do at home to enhance my adjustments and assist the healing process. Thank you!!

Ive been going to Dr. Bastron for several years now, and Im very pleased with the quality and consistency of the service he and his office provide. Before that, I tried 4 or 5 other chiropractors, so I think I have a pretty good basis for comparison. Theres many reasons why I keep coming back: Its easy to make an appointment that fits my schedule, and the wait time is usually 10 minutes or less once youve checked in. Dr. Bastron is very skilled and knowledgeable, so I always feel better within minutes to hours after an adjustment. His staff is helpful and professional, and Dr. Bastron himself is easy to talk to and genuinely cares about his patients.
