Buyer Beware!! Unless you purchase contacts from the shop connected with Dr. Stephen Goo you may have to pay a "contact lens fitting/eval" fee that your insurance provider may not cover. My provider is Northwest Benefits Network and they do not pay the fee unless contacts are purchased and I actually have a "contact fitting" with the doctor in question. I have evidence that Dr. Goo is aware that some insurace carriers do not pay it until contacts are purchased but he didnt make me aware that I would have to pay this fee out of my own pocket. Dr. Goo did not see me wear any contacts but he still feels justified charging me an additional $55 beyond the $236 that he already charged my insurance (and they paid) for the 20 minutes that I was in his Wedgwood office. I will also try to warn consumers to stay away from Woodlawn Optical in Wedgwood as well because employees there are also aware that some insurance carriers do not pay this $55 fee. Im not sure if there is some kind of battle or politics going on between the Optical profession and insurance providers but consumers should not be stuck in the middle. Mr. Goo was not very cordial on the phone with me in trying to explain why he is justified in charging me this additional fee. I would not recommend going to either Dr. Stephen Goo or Woodlawn Optical because of this potential problem.

Dr.Goo had a solution in under 15 minutes! And Laurie, his office manager is amazing. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE!
