Ive been a patient with Dr. Nelson and his associates for about 35 years. He and his staff are great. As mentioned in the last commentary, he does have new/different office staff from time-to-time, but with a little patience and understanding/remembering what its like to be new, this helps iron out the wrinkles. I am a hard contact (gas perm) patient, and have experienced a very comfortable fit, and enjoy the benefits of 20-15 vision which, I believe, is a direct result of the time Dr. Nelson spent with me to get my prescription right. He and his staff seem to have a genuine concern about making sure every patient is happy and satisfied.

The doctors are great, experienced and some of the staff. New staff watch out! They dont know what they are doing and are so bad with customer service and end up saying the wrong things to patients. If you can bypass that the doctors are great to work with. Communication with the front desk staff is difficult, they dont explain everything and are not well informed with all the information that people ask. Bad for a company that was mentioned as one of the bay areas best places to go. Im marking below average since you spend more time with the staff then the doctors.

I have been going to Vision Gallery for the past two years. Every time I have gone I have had nothing but a positive experience. The staff and Dr. John Wong are always friendly, engaging and caring. The exams are thorough and the opportunity to ask questions or to have them answered is always ample. I would highly recommend making an appointment with Vision Gallery if you are looking for a new place to take care of your eyes.

Dr Nelson has been taking good care of my eyes for over 25 years. My vision correction is always "right on" and my contacts fit well and are very comfortable. I would never go any where else. The staff changes over the years, but Ive always found them to be very helpful and polite. Dr Johns the Best!!!
