Personally, I dont like to complain when I have a bad experience somewhere but today I just cannot let this go. Id like to warn others of the horrible experience Ive had at Thurston Dental. I have 3 kids and I am pregnant with my fourth and was advised I should see a dentist before I have the baby. Ive been seen at many different offices and have never had any issue with the staff. Today I walked in with my 2 year old strapped to his stroller with a tablet so he would be entertained during my cleaning. The first lady to greet me at the desk looked at my son in disgust and asked if someone was coming to get him. I answered no and she ran and grabbed another lady. This lady immediately said Id have to leave and reschedule because kids are not allowed at the dentist. Apparently at their practice debris goes flying everywhere (her exact words), instruments used in the cleaning can go flying or fall on the ground and children grab them. She then said shes been in dentistry for 20 years and kids have never been allowed. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works long hours, he was even overseas for years and I have always had my children with me everywhere I go. I have never been treated with such disrespect because of my children. Just the facial expressions of these people towards my child said it all. I highly recommend no one go to this practice. I am still in awe that I was refused service because I am a mother and I will be making a formal complaint against them as well.

Ive had what I thought was a good dentist before, but Thurston Dental is the best by a HUGE margin! They dont just provide superb quality, high-tech dental work; they also treat you like an equal person whose opinion, time, understanding, and comfort matters. Ive had an exam, cleaning, several fillings, and a chip repair here in the past few months (it wouldve taken that long to get a single appointment at my last dentist); none of the procedures hurt (or were even unpleasant), all felt very personalized, and my teeth look and feel better than they have since they were brand new! I also really like that its a reasonably sized office where the dentist himself sees you each time you come in, and not a giant, over-staffed, factory-feeling facility. Ive never been to any dental or medical office where I felt as well informed, honestly listened to, comfortable (even jovial), and included in every process as I do at Thurston Dental. ^.^

The staff is outstanding. Dr. Sapp is very patient and makes certain that youre never uncomfortable or in any pain. My anxiety is very bad and typically i would run out of the dentists office the second i got in the chair but Dr. Sapp and his staff made me feel so comfortable and safe that i never even thought about leaving. Theyre fun and a blast to be around. Ive never had a better experience. I also took my one year old daughter in and they were just great with her! I definitely recommend this office. Clean, efficient and absolutely amazing at what they do!

My teeth had grooves in them and I had been told by another dentist that my gum line was receding and exposing my teeth above the gum line, When I went to Dr. Sapp, he pointed out that it was actually from brushing too hard and wearing down my teeth. Not receding gum line. He enameled my teeth in minutes! He also repaired another chipped tooth I had later gotten while eating rock candy. I cannot believe how beautiful my teeth turned out! I am amazed at his level of skill and my daughter likes going there too! I highly recommend Dr. Sapp and his team!

If I could rate them higher than just 5 stars I absolutely would. I have spent my entire life dreading the thought of going to the dentist, any dentist. But my experience as a patient at Thurston Dental has caused me to look at going to the dentist in a whole new light. I cant begin to express my appreciation for all of the staff at Thurston Dental for their expertise and genuine concern for whats best for not only my mouth but me as a patient :)

I just recently started seeing Dr. Sapp and will definitely continue to! This place is awesome. Not only is this practice beautifully set up but there is amazing staff! I normally am not very comfortable at the dentist! A little scared to be honest. Here...I felt completely at ease and had no worries. You can feel the passion running this place! Dr. Sapp is very personable and caring! They definitely have a soft touch and do a wonderful job!

Excellent care from the front office to the back. Dr.Sapp is an awesome dentist and he truly cares about his patients needs, comfort, and what is best for me .... Not like a lot of others Ive seen that only care about making $$$. He was also very gentle and took his time. I can tell that for him, his work is quality not quantity. I was referred by my girlfriend as I am new to the Olympia area. I was very impressed with this whole office. Staff was warm and welcoming and the dentist was great! I felt comfortable instantly. Thurston Dental is just amazing! Both my kids have gone here for filings, cleanings, and each of them had one tooth extraction. Dr. Sapp made them both feel very comfortable. Hes caring and reassuring. We will continue to use Thurston Dental. Their office is clean and has a comfy atmosphere as well. I watch tv while I wait...lol...Thanks Thurston Dental!!!

My anxiety disorder makes everything hard but they make me feel very comfortable and even patient when i need a minute because of a panic attack. Ive never been to a dentist who is so understanding of my needs. They take excellent care of me and my family.
