FIND ANOTHER PLACE IF YOU CAN.... GO TO A SMALLER OFFICE TO WHERE THEY KNOW YOUR TIME IS VALUABLE, TOO & not just theirs !!! Last year, I made an appointment to get an annual thorough exam at their Puyallup skin care... during my appointment liquid nitrogen was used on my dark spot on my face and during the process I pulled away several times because it started to hurt/felt like my face my burning so bad... that evening it blistered pretty bad. 3 weeks later they were able to finally fit me in their tight schedule, I had my follow up and saw someone else. During my appointment he was surprised to see how bad the indentations is on my face from the liquid nitrogen treatment that they took a picture to show the Dr to see what they can do and was told they would call me with recommendations and how they can fix it. Didnt get a call my instead received a bill for $697 so I called my insurance & they told me to have them correct the last name & re-submit the claim. Lo & behold I called the office and spoke with Ashley in the billing department, I was told that my insurance denied the claim & I asked Ashley to change my last name back to what it was since theyve had it like that to match my insurance card & theyve had no problems in the past with submitring my.claim to my insurance. She said she would talk to her manager and call me back... well never received a follow up on that request either but instead I got a letter from their collection agency. I called again today & spoke with Renee and she told me that she was told that they cant change it back the way it was until I get a new ID even though theyve never had any issues in the past & thats how it was before in their records!! Not only that Ive had no follow through from their office and their lack of good customer service, I am now having to deal with this burden in my cr edit!! They were quick to drop the ball and REFUSING to get this straighten! I will never make the mistake to refer anyone here!!! Its like their right hand doesnt know what their left hand is doing! Its obvious that BIG offices such as this loses and customer service is poor because you become JUST A NUMBER AND NOT A PATIENT!! Pls go elsewhere!!!

Rating a 3 because they did fix my vision. I got lasik. One of my eyes required a second surgery. I paid $4400. I went to the University Place clinic and met with my surgeon and was happy with him, but the problem was that he bounced around several of their locations. I chose the University Place location because I work less than a mile away, and I dont have to take time off to go see them during my lunch. I was lucky that another surgeon saw me to do the follow up appointments. The last straw was when the doctor who did my surgery moved to their new Bonney Lake Location and no longer returned to the University Place clinic. I was told to stay out of light as it will bother me, but I never expected my eye balls to be on fire. They burned so bad that I felt like I wanted to rip them out. I had to take Nyquil to pass out because I was told several times they dont prescribe pain killers. I didnt want pain killers, I wanted numbing drops so I wouldnt feel the burning in my eyes. I felt like they just thought I wanted pain killers because of the way I was told no several times. Why would you act like that when I just paid you $4400 to cut my eyes open with a laser? I had to go through this twice. I felt the burning in my skull. If this is what lasik feels like all the time, then I will never get it again. I will deal w/ glasses or contacts. I was also upset because I was told it would be $4400. That did NOT include the antibiotic and the other medication that was prescribed. My insurance did not cover the medications so it ended up being another $80 or so. That is not ok, I understand you only provide the surgery and the patient is responsible for their medications, but that should be disclosed up front so the patient can check into the total cost. I missed an appointment but they were kind enough to waive the no show fee. These are the reasons why I knocked 2 stars off.

When I first brought my daughter for skin treatments I was offered a document that I signed that allowed her to go on her own for appointments. (She is a teenager who drives). Today when she went in for her scheduled appointment (which took a month and a half to get) she was turned away because their system was down and they could not access the document as it was scanned into the system. Ridiculous. When I called to question it, the person on the phone told me that she didnt know why my daughter was turned away because she only makes appointments but she would see if there was someone who had time to call me back. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. OUR TIME IS PRECIOUS TOO. A MONTH AND A HALF WAIT SHOULD WARRANT A CALL TO A PARENT INSTEAD OF TURNING A PATIENT AWAY! We wont be back. UPDATE: Office called me to reschedule. Stated that the one provider that my daughter was seeing was not comfortable with the office policy to see minors without parents present, even with parent consent. I believe the policy should be either discarded completely or everyone who practices there should follow the policy. There should be uniformity so that patients know what to expect.

If you like your time being disrespected and insulted, and love to wait long after your appointment time, this is the place for you. This is the second time they have been an hour late and I do feel very disrespected! I have other things I could be doing and would rather be doing. Over scheduling like this should result in Cascade paying a patient for their time. Rude and uncaring is my view of this behavior. I guess the schedule is way over-booked indicating that they could care less about a patients feelings. When asked if I wanted to reschedule, I really felt like the worker was gouging me even more - REALLY - I just sat there an hour so why would I want to reschedule as a solution? How about a phone call before I leave home to let me know to come an hour late or ask if I want to reschedule before I waste my time, gas, and energy only to be insulted. The customer abuse department is functioning well if the intention is to get rid of patients for good. When someone is irritated by the long wait time, making nasty comments is very unappreciated and unprofessional! How about some empathy training. Better yet, STOP OVERBOOKING the schedule.
