I saw Dr Morganroth for a scalp cyst(sebaceous). I had this benign cyst for more than 10 years. I was referred to Dr .Morganroth. I decided to see him after reading most of his good reviews and how experienced he was. I called his office during mid november and was told that he is completely booked until march. I told the staff that I was seeing the doctor for a medical and not cosmetic reasons. I explained briefly about what was going on and she called me next day confirming an appointment. After reading some of the not so good reviews, I was not expecting to see a smiling, happy doctor. The first thing I noticed was a smile on his face and he listened to me patiently. He was actually standing there with a smile and answering my questions repeatedly. He told me not to worry and to get this thing out. I felt very cared and told him what a wonderful doctor he was. For a moment I forgot I was a patient. During my second visit the doctor came in on time and got this thing out in 10 minutes. He is an amazing , very confident and skillful doctor. He also spent 5 minutes after the operation and answered all my questions. I noticed that he was very understanding about my concerns and did not mind when I frequently interrupted him while he was still answering my questions. Dont go by the negative reviews here, just go and see him for yourself. I am so glad I did !

Gordon Im sorry to hear about your problem with the California Skin Institute as I got the old switcharue as well. Dr. Morganroth, while technically accomplished, I believe he may have a bedside manner issue and palm patients off to their PA or his second string docs because they can make more money on another patient scheduled for the same time. However, at the time his staff was very nice to me. This was only an initial impression from one visit experience and I decided not to return for any further treatments. It was also very nice of them to refund your appointment fee ($130) after you complained about not getting the doctor you requested. That is unusual and as you said to their credit.

I went to Dr. Morganroth asking to look as young as I feel. I didnt want anything dramatic, just to lose my jowls and tighten my neck. Dr. M. took as much time as I needed to explain what the process was and how I would feel afterward. When I had a small complication a week after surgery, he and his staff immediately addressed it. While he may appear to be a bit brusque at times, he is a true perfectionist ... and from a patients point of view, I completely appreciate that. Dr. Morganroth and his staff were professional and compassionate. I have already recommended them to friends who have been impressed with my results.

Dr. M is very competent and professional. I would recommend him for simple or complex procedures. I was able to get an appointment within a few days and was able to talk with him about my concerns. He took care of my needs and seemed interested in my well-being. Although he had a lot of patients, he was very considerate and answered all of my questions without a rush.

He saved my nose for the ill fated work of another doctor! I would rather have a dermatologist with superior knowledge and talent than someone who is consistently "nice". If you want the best, state-of -the-art care and competency, seek out Dr. Morganroth. My nose healed and you cant see any scarring!

CSI in MtN View- is run extremely efficiently! The intake personnel are Welcoming, friendly and informative. But none of this matters so much as the expertise of Dr. Morganroth - after all this is what we patients really need and what I am most interested in. He really rocks!
