Came to this office in August for the first time to fix slight discoloration due to sun exposure in my decolletage area. After filling out my details and talking to the nurses and to Dr. Jhin about my extremely sensitive skin, she recommended IPL treatment and started working on me. As I was leaving, I paid an exorbitant amount of money for multiple IPL treatments. But something wasnt right. It was burning like mad. Soon I realized that I had second degree burns. Ive contacted the office numerous times and they continued to say that it cant be. I took countless pictures and videos of the damage and eventually they believed me and admitted their fault. Dr. Jhin said she had no idea this could even happen. That really put me at ease, knowing a doctor could he so clueless. Sigh. She offered multiple "corrective" treatments free of charge, and stated that if and when the burns disappear completely, I could decide whether I wanted to continue with my treatments or get my money back for all of them, including the first one. I got these "corrective" treatments, and they were useless. They were so useless, in fact, that the staff kept trying to make me purchase creams and lotions to "speed up the healing process". One of those times, I actually did, and as I walked towards my car I realized that I shouldnt be paying for their malpractice, so I went back and asked to return the cream. They said they couldnt give me my money back and when I raised hell (I made the purchase exactly a minute prior) they finally cancelled the transaction. I didnt go back there after that, couldnt trust them. I let time and home treatments work their magic on my burns, and months later, Im much better (still scarred, though.) Two weeks ago, Ive decided to contact them and ask for my money back. They answered slowly and in a way that was very shady and kept telling me that they dont refund and that I got treatments and stuff. I explained my situation and was still mistreated. So I told them that I have a case to sue, and that I prefer not to, but only if they send me back my money as promised (mind you, this money was paid for treatments that I never got, with one of them causing me severe burns and scarring, so I definitely deserve it). They kept asking me to talk on the phone and I decided to tell them that I dont trust them anymore, and I prefer having it in writing. I wanted them to send me the money via check so we could have a paper trail of it (which would also help protect them from a lawsuit). They continued to ignore that, said I was harassing them and bothering them, and kept sending me a release form to sign where I would guarantee not to sue them. I told them that it makes zero sense for me to sign it before I get back my money, and that legally, if they send me a check, they can prove it and I have less of a case either way, but they didnt bother caring. They are calling me names when I ask them for humanity and kindness, for my own money back as promised to me (without any sort of compensation, I might add. Im not even looking for compensation at this point - but I may look for it once I am forced to drag them to court for malpractice) as a result of me getting burned and scarred.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Jhins.She has successfully helped me with my eczema, fragrance/skin allergies.Most recently she helped me with my Alopecia Ariata. Looking back, I dont know what I would have done if I didnt have Dr Jhin, Dr Humble, her staff Nurse Prac Lauren, Reanie & the friendly staff that saw me sometimes on a bi-weekly basis. Since PD has always offered the latest technology, they used PRP to treat me. Although it sounded like a "science experiment" to me at the time; I committed to the treatment & never look back. In less than a years time, the quarter size sections of hair loss I had have grown IN! Not only has my hair grown in but my whole outlook on life returned back to normal too. Hair makes a Huge difference in how you feel about yourself & present yourself to outside world. If you are dealing with any type of hair loss, I suggest you check into PRP.

Dr. Jhin is the best dermatologist Ive ever seen. Not only is she an amazing physician, I would also call her an artist who is always on the front lines when it comes to cosmetic procedures. Aging at your best, takes having a top dermatologist on your team, and I couldnt recommend Dr. Jhin more.
