Ive been with Valley Medical for about 6 years and the single most consistent thing, across all valley medical center clinics Ive called, and for sure at the two Ive attended (Fairwood and Cascade clinics) is the WAIT TIME ON THE PHONE. Every single time Ive called over the past SIX years Ive had to wait MINIMUM 8-10 min on hold before getting through to a person, MINIMUM! After a couple years I noticed the trend so I very kindly explained this to the person on the other side of the phone but they say sorry, thats just how it is/they cant do anything about it. It doesnt matter what time of day, Ive called at all different times knowing this was going to be a problem. While wait times do vary, they have never been less than 8 min. This is beyond ABSURD. And for years Ive given them the chance. Ive thought to myself, "Meh, theyll get it figured out soon." But no. They really have not figured it out at all. The phone wait may not seem like a big deal but look; - Between all the lunch hours Ive wasted and the frustration of dealing with this over the years, - Calling, waiting on hold for 12 min and having the call drop, calling back and waiting another 15 min before I can talk to someone, - All the times I called and had to give up because never got through after waiting 10 min. - And all the gas after giving up and driving there just trying to set up an appointment, I realize I would have been better off going with a provider who got it right to begin with. If you are not a customer of Valley Medical, DO NOT become one. 6 years experience tells me they wont be there when you call, they dont plan to be, and they simply dont care. You cant get those hours of frustration back. Hopefully this review is the last chunk of time Ill be forced to waste on Valley Medical Center.

I will NEVER go back to Valley again! Had the worst experience today. It was just the icing on the cake, following a waste of time visit to ER 2 weeks ago. Now they will try to charge me an arm and a leg for nothing! I got more information and support from WebMD than them! They will give you all sorts of meds under the sun when you dont need it, (i.e., high blood pressure meds when you dont have HBP, cholesterol meds when you dont have high cholesterol, etc; but ask for antibiotics because youve been clearly dealing with an upper respiratory infection for a couple months, and now my ears are completely plugged (5 days now), Im still coughing and have a heavy chest... And what do they say? Sorry, theres nothing I can do for you. Did they run a blood panel? Nope!! Did they do ANY tests? Nope! Dont waste your precious dollars. Go see a real clinic with doctors who truly care about you.

Real SCAM i was there for a check up and at the end they charged me as if it were a visit to the doctor and for a check up also, im supposed to be charged to my insurance and pay my copayment and did that but later i received a bill for services that i DID NOT GET. I call them,i wrote them,explain to many people but they have the power to take your many or you are in trouble with collection so you have to pay. Its a theft.

Ive never had a more horrible experience. I went to see Joan to establish care and have my prescriptions renewed. She had no idea of what she was doing and wanted me to see 3 different doctors. She treated me as if Id never seen a doctor before! I walked out in the middle of my appt. and reported her. I renamed her the "Ice Queen". Save yourself time and money. Go somewhere else!!!!

This is probably the best clinic I have been to in a long time. The doctor, nurses, techs, and reception all listen and respond accordindly. I am in much better health because of them. Would and do refer the clinic. Doctors and staff deserve respect. They are there to help us. You negative review writers need to stop whining, grow up, wait your turn!!!

My go-to for physical care. My doctor is up front and honest with me about my health options and is willing to listen to my concerns and suggestions for what I feel may work best for me. Great friendly positive atmosphere!
