It is shocking and deplorable how a practice that relies on people for business can provide horrible service. I typically go out of my way to provide positive feedback, even when service is not so stellar. The folks at BBJP worked really hard to disappoint. I am sure the staff means well and they are great people. It is the management, leadership and doctors that bear the responsibility for the negative environment and unprofessional treatment. I printed all the form at home and showed up at the office 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment to properly fill out all forms- completed shortly before 10am. I registered and sat in the waiting room waiting another 30 minutes (75 minutes total) without anyone seeing me. I left their office and did not get the treatment. Totally wasted time. Really disappointing that they have no respect for our time, when we honor our commitment and show up on time. We have work and responsibilities to juggle, and we come seeking treatment and healing for whatever ails us. This is the wrong place to provide healing and sound advise, if they cant even respect our time. When you treat your customers (new and existing) with respect, it comes back with many more rewards and reflects positively on the culture overall. And, with that, you can provide patient care, be respectful of our time, build a fun environment, while maintaining a thriving and profitable practice. I really hope the folks at BBJP will take the time to reflect on these comments and make some correction. For the sake of the community, their staff, and the their business.

Too many cooks - which leads to telephone game style miscommunication. Seemingly forced web portal to records that is useless. Went in, met with the medical assistant, to whom I explained the condition and story. Who then brought in the non-practicing medical assistant to whom I had to repeat the whole story. That resulted in xrays and the NPMA again, who then brought in the actual doctor, whom I had to tell the whole story to again, which elicited a "I didnt know about the ER visit..." comment from the doc. So the more cooks they put in the mix, the more likely your information wont make it to the doctor. The clinic has an online site for your medical records, visit reports etc. Apparently they force the various clinical staff to make an entry in it for your visit. I got the notice about my account, and then notices that 3 different records were in it - one for each of the 3 folks I saw on that one visit. Problem is, all the records contain zero/none/nada information. Nothing, other than the date and time they saw me. Nothing got entered.. I guess they are not entering data.. so why both sending me a link to set up an account, to which I need to supply a complex password all to see that there are useless blank records being kept on my behalf. And they didnt even properly record my birthdate from the drivers license image they required be taken. All in all, this operation is seemingly a mess. Not sure about the healthcare, but as a customer experience it is rather bad.

I never experienced a physically traumatic moment in my entire life until November 2015. The injury was caused by falling from a height and in the process of going down, my right wrist took a massive hit. At the ER, x-rays revealed that I had dislocated a wrist bone and in that process, destroyed my ligaments. I was studying to be an RN, so I am familiar with human anatomy and physiology. The amount of damage I sustained required a reduction and ligament repair surgery. Dr. Schick arrived, performed the reduction (the coolest thing to see and hear by the way) and the rest is history. Dr. Schick and Dr. Trumble performed the surgery on my wrist and I truly felt at ease under their care. After that, all of my follow up appointments and physical therapy were done at BBJP. Your BBJP staff are some of the amazing people in the medical field. They are warm, kind, gentle, happy, knowledgeable and enthusiastic all in the name of "service before self". I continue to see Dr. Schick and multiple therapists to get the best possible outcome for my wrist. I know Im in good hands, so will you.

My experience had been VERY bad with customer care so far. I had knee injury and doctor recommeneded me a knee brace. I was told by receptionist that she will block 100$ on my credit card in case my insurance does not cover it. Later on 100$ got cut from my credit card and a 650$+ bill was posted to my insurance provider for the brace. When I tried to talk to finance department of bbjp they shouted and transferred call to the doctor. Since last 1 month I am in contact with the doctor and she tells me that someone from finance department will talk to me but no one calls up. I still have a long way to go till my knee gets okay but now I am not sure if it is safe to continue with bbjp as doctor, receptionist, billing department may not be friendly. I also cannot be sure that I wont get cheated again. So I am just limping with my knee.

I cant say enough good things about this team and this includes ALL DEPARTMENTS. I have never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time to see Dr. Schick with one exception, I did have to wait 20 minutes because I showed up 3 hours early! I had surgery on my left shoulder, Dr. Schick and Sofia checked in on me regularly, which was awesome. The PT team, Robert and Molly, wow! They are fantastic and will help you feel whole again sooner than you can imagine. When Ive needed help with paperwork or calls for my short term disability claim the team never seems put out, they respond to my carrier within a day or two, which is a HUGE help! In going 2 to 3 times a week from May through August 2017 there had not been one bad experience. I will recommend this office to all friends and family!

Love Love Love the doctors!!! Everyone in the back is amazing. The front desk ladies are great as well, its the rest of the office that needs help. The billing department needs a lot of help!!! I spoke with 3 different people and got 4 different stories no one could keep what their policy was straight. I had to have my mother call (who has been in the medical industry for 20 years) and try to find out what they really wanted and it still took her 3 phone calls! Even though I live in Puyallup I would recommend any one with hand injuries to drive to Bellevue to see these doctors! I saw 1 previous surgeon for 2 hand surgeries and then heard about Dr. Trumble I am on surgery #3 with him but he has a clear plan for me and thats a breath of fresh air.

I had been seeing Dr Trumble for many years, in contemplating surgery for my CMC joint. After he joined BBJ, the time had come and I could not procrastinate any longer. He offered me the procedure which best suited my job and lifestyle. It was leading-edge technology ... and I could not be happier with my results. Over the years, I have had four procedures done by Dr Trumble. He is the only hand specialist that I will see and I have referred him to my friends who have similar issues. He is the Best and has very good bedside manners. Aftercare was excellent. And I must add that his staff at Overlake Medical Center were outstanding. Thank you, Dr Trumble. We are so fortunate to have you in the Seattle area.
