Went to the ER after a car accident. I came in a pretty disheveled state (shaking badly, bloody, muddy jeans and a t-shirt, no makeup), and was pretty out of it due to being in shock. I heard the doctor making jokes out in the hall with the other staff, about my appearance, saying that I was ugly, white trash, probably a drug-seeking prostitute and a faker, and a waste of his time. He asked me a couple of questions, then made a couple of dismissive and hurtful comments. He then sent me home without doing an exam, making a diagnosis, or providing treatment. I have never liked taking pain medication, and never requested it. His evaluation of my character based on a single glance was both bizarre and unwarranted. Went to Harborview later after having a seizure, and was diagnosed with a head injury and several rib fractures, along with other injuries, and received good treatment. Two years out, I am still undergoing physical and occupational therapy, trying to recover from some of the damage. At the time, I just wanted to put the whole traumatic experience of the accident and the first ER visit behind me. But now I regret not reporting it and lodging a formal complaint against that doctor. His incompetence and bad attitude put my life at risk. If I was in another emergency situation and awake, I would beg to be taken anywhere but Swedish Cherry Hill.

There were several service providers who took incredible care of my husband during his stay at Swedish for open heart surgery. Several of those names weve already passed along to you just before my husband was discharged. However, wed like to add two more names we forgot to include. One was a nurse, Cody, on the 4th floor of the cardiac wing. An amazing young woman who far surpasses in skill level the amount of experience shes had.. Another was Angelique Coleman who was extremely helpful in telling us how to navigate the parking situation and in taking us by the hand and showing us how to get into the hospital at 5:00 before many of Swedishs doors opened, etc. She volunteered her help without our even having to ask her. Please see that these individuals are acknowledged. Our over-all experience at Swedish was exceptional.

Last night, I was throwing a small dinner party for my friends, when, of course, I cut my finger and clearly needed stitches. I immediately went to Swedish with out so much as a second thought even though they are nearly a 30 minute drive from where I live. They were busy when I got in, but the service and friendliness of the doctors and staff is what made me go there. I was NOT disappointed. Not to mention, the stitches were (relatively) painless and quick, and the fabulous MD answered all of my questions and talked to me the whole time (great because a. Im a pansy when it comes to pain and b. I despise needles). So glad I chose Swedish and will continue to choose Swedish.

I want to thank the entire Swedish team (I was transferred here from the Ballard location). They took me seriously, listened. They have been invaluable the last couple of days. 5 East, you are my heros! You got me answers Ive been begging for for SEVEN years! Joanna, Shannon, Adam, Greg (Gary?), and Yuzuki- and all the care partners- thank you!!! You are a fantastic team and should be reminded of such every day! You do a hard job, but I thank you!!

Really bad communication between staff and doctor did not care about the patient (family member) at all. From start to finish it was a bad experience but Im sure the bill will be extemely high because they kept her for days and didnt do much. Only nice thing is that they are nice unfortunately though they are also incompetent..

These doctors saved my life by fixing ruptured aneurysms in my brain, then going in with a craniotomy partial skull removal to fix a total of 5 aneurysms 2 coiled and 3 clipped...how amazing and they were pretty well able to manage the excruciating pain a rupture and craniotomy causes!!

I had a very high risk brain surgery on April 17, 2013 at Sweedish Medical Center, and from the moment I got there until the moment I left, I was treated so well. The doctors and staff are very welcoming and treated me as if theyve met me before

I had pneumonia back in early 2012, and I was here at Swedish, the doctors and nurses care about their patients and getting their health back on track. Words cant describe, just a great hospital
