If there were other options available to people without insurance, I would have taken ANY other option! I have already been misdiagnosed four times in my life by doctors at this medical center, but the treatment I received when I arrived at the ER last month, as well as treatment received (or lack thereof) when admitted as an inpatient, was what I felt to be criminal. I pray that there can be something done to address issues with sanitary conditions and late night nursing care, as well as the overwhelming lack of education/training for the staff at the admissions and triage windows at the ER. (I DO want to commend the day/evening nurses for their outstanding compassion and response during my stay, and for the respect I received from case workers in assisting me with issues relating to Medi-Cal, Social Security and other programs necessary for me once discharged.) I laid on the bare floor of the ER waiting room for over 10 minutes after being embarrassed and scolded by the admissions/triage staff, and NO ONE CARED! I was nearly unconscious, and was treated as if I was inconveniencing the staff, when I had been the only person in line to see the admitting staff at that time! After 3 1/2 hours without any response to my cries due to my immense pain, I ended up leaving and being taken to Sequoia Hospital for immediate care, where I received respect and immediate assistance for my post-chemo complications.

It took THREE hours to be seen when we showed up on time for our appointment. The waiting room was extremely hot & when asked to adjust the temperature it didnt help much. It was complete chaos in the waiting room with many patients very upset. We were told the MRI department would be calling us with an appointment. They never did so I called them only to find that whoever (the nurse or doctor) ordered the MRI appointment failed to request an immediate appointment so the earliest appointment I could get was SEVERAL months out. Calling the medical center to straighten this out took me SEVERAL HOURS!!! There was no one to answer the phone. What an incredible waste of time! Anyone with half a brain would know the MRI should be ordered FIRST and then the doctors appointment afterward. So now we have to come back two more times and wait several hours Im sure. This place sucks!!!

This is the worst service I have ever gotten at a hospital. There was only 1 nurse who was nice to me, he was really helpful and I really liked him. However, I had so many other bad encounters. One nurse insisted I got an iv and I told him I would rather have a glass of water. Then I asked him about something and he walked out and ignored me and acted like a brat. When I puked and called for help, the nurses where all on their phones and ignored my cries for help. My dad got a bag I could puke in the last moment. I felt dehydrated after puking and for a long time the hospital refused to give me a glass of water. It was also extremely innefient with hours of waiting time long into the night and when the nurses do visited, many of them were superficial and left again in a few seconds. Everything was innefient.

LABORATORY SUCKS!!! INCOMPETENT NINCOMPOOPS!!! I called beforehand and spoke with Glenda, asked her to verify I had a glucose test ordered frm Dr. She confirmed, I said Ill be there by 3pm. I show up at 3:40p n wait for my # to be called, I go back to do the test at 4:15pm!!!! The Pacific Islander Phlebotomist, she tellz me THEY RAN OUT OF THE GLUCOSE DRINK?!?!?!??! REALLY!?!??!?!? What gives?!?!?! She "looked for the drink everywhere, and said i have to come back another day bc they ran out!!!" I had wasted almost an HR for nothing!!!! Worst LAB EVER so unprofessional!!! Next time Im going to bring a witness n this case. I really hate to have wasted my time, drove there. Struggled to park, walk my pregnant self to lab only to have WASTED MY TIME DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE!!!

This place is literally the worst hospital Ive ever been to. The nursing staff is slow, inefficient and barely speaks english. Not one or two. Literally every nurse here has a problem speaking clear english. The entire staff just stands around chit chatting and texting on their phones. Once I have insurance I will NEVER come here again. Im amazed that a place like this is allowed to continue operating. There must be some standards of care that are not being met. They need to fire this entire place and start over. Oh and dont bother asking anyone questions of any of the staff. Youll be told "you have to wait" despite waiting well over 2 hours and being told "youre next" and seeing 4 people go ahead of you.

So i go in to the emergency room on Monday in great pain from my ulcer. They run some tests i seem to stabilize and they release me. The doctor tells me to see my primary care doctor. That very evening the pain returns and im still in great pain tuesday morning when im back in the emergency room. Doctor Jessica Chu runs the exact same tests as the ones that where done on Monday. Once i stabilize she releases me. Never for a moment do they find that its odd that im back for the second day in a row and perhaps she should order an endoscopy for me A.S.A.P. That evening i was back in pain again until i was able to get an endoscopy done a few days latter. This review is only for my experience with Miss Chu..

You will die before u get service from these people. Be prepared to wait for hours on the phone and then be hung up on. My knee is in so much pain that I can hardly walk but I was placed on hold and hung up on after waiting for an hour. Even after that I would have been transferred around and never gotten through to anyone. I even gave the dispatcher my phone number right at the beginning and asked her to call me if we were disconnected because it always seems to happen at this place. Ive waited all day at their pharmacy and emergency room and received horrible service.

It was ok. Everyone was kind. Just the cafeteria thought needed more smiles. The cashier was serious, but when a doctor from the hospital passed by, all happy smiles and talkative. When someone else passed by, just gave a look like "hurry up, I dont have all day". Hopefully next time I pass by there will be equal treatment to everyone. Not just someone with a pass.

Horrible nursing staff a ridiculous wait time to be seen then to wait to see a doctor. Left in room for hours with arm pains that were severe. They sit and have social conversations before helping you out. When I came in there was only one other Pearson waiting to be seen yet it took six hours to be diagnosed.
