Worst experience EVER ... never never ever will I do back to this dump agn . Go in for a routine check up and I was very specific about what I wanted to address from the point of booking the appointment to getting into the doctors office. I went from a routine appointment and being told I dont have a co pay to be a shoved in a wheelchair down the hall in front of a crowd of people into a crowded elevator and outside into the emergency room all the time explaining to everyone I dont feel like I need to be there. These crooks took my took my blood and hooked me to a monitor which I continue to say I didnt need and GUESS WHAT !! found out I WAS RIGHT!! But then they had the nerve to say they want to run a second set of the same test I GUESS I LOOK STUPID ....next thing I know some women shows up ask me to sign my consent and then immediately after informing me I over $250 co-pay for the emergency room. WAIT DID I WALK INTO THE ER??? Was anybody listening when I said I didnt need to be there .... well surprise surprise I get two bills one for over $600 which included the co-pay that I was told was waived and another separate bill for over $4000 mins you this was the test they wanted to run twice....these people are crazy and they are cracks never will I ever go back to Kiaser again actually I feel like I need to call 7 on my side and a lawyer !

My mom, Daowen Li, stay at Kaiser Permanent Hospital in Richmond of California over one month due to pneumonia. She was in coma, and situation was critical when sending to Emergency Room at the hospital. Doctors provide highly professional medical treatments to my mom, timely update patient health status to my family, give us medication suggestions, explain surgery procedures in detail and reduce patients sufferings as much as possible. Nurses gave my mom good services, take care of her carefully, tell us functions of used medicine, periodically re-position my mom, heal her wound, keep patient and room clean at daily basis. Rehabilitation therapists patiently help my mom do physical exercise and try to assist her recovery as soon as possible. Currently,my moms consciousness is gradually recovery. She can work with rehabilitation therapists together. As family members of patient, we really appreciate all doctors, nurses, particularly for ones who work at ICU(Intensive Care Unit), rehabilitation therapists and hospital. Your professional service give us deep impression. It is you save my moms life. You are best doctors and nurses I ever know. Kaiser Permanent Hospital at Richmond is best hospital. Thanks all of you!!

Have been going here for about 25 years for all my medical problems, and my kids had their pediatrician here too. We have always received excellent medical care. Examples: my life was saved when my OBGYN nurse practitioner discovered something in a routine test that might have been nothing but she wanted to be sure so did a biopsy and it was early-stage cancer; and the dermatologist diagnosed an extremely rare skin condition that indicated a very rare (1 in 250,000) metabolic disorder and my GP followed up when I said Id been feeling tired, and we discovered I have sleep apnea--now I sleep well every night! Plus my kids, husband and I have all had a lot of more minor things. Honestly, this place delivers first-class medical care. It is fantastic I can *email my own doctor* who answers within a day, and its a one-stop shot, with labs, radiology, pharmacy, everything in one place. Can a particular provider sometimes make a mistake or have a poor bedside manner? Im sure it happens, but it hasnt happened to any of us in 25 years.

Kaiser as a whole has come a very long way in personalizing the service... Patients, physicians/ doctors and even methods are constantly changing. once in a while iM on this side of the table and actually a patient. i do believe work in some areas may be needed. however, i also believe as a patient its very easy to forget that they are one person and trying to work as a team to handle the hundreds of tasks/ issues on a daily basis. i give this facility and their efforts four stars with room for improvement.

Nursing staff and Doctors are rude. Customer service by far is a 0 . No one is welcoming or curtoeus. Emergency room dept staff are loud & unprofessional language. Wait time is over 40 mins long even though there are staff available. Lack of mannerism when entering a room.. room setup chucks are dirty with visible signs of use. X-ray personnel seem much more considerate. Security officer in waiting area is rude and needs to learn about PHI . Will not be coming to the ED ever again here

Ive never had such a smooth in&out process for a doctor appointment. The reception staff were not exactly of cheery candy-gram corps but they nice enough. RN Vicki, who did my vitals had a fun sense of humor. Dr Sinha is very courteous and attentive. The paperless system is brilliant. The cafeteria is modestly sized yet the food is pretty decent.

Worst hospital ever. First time at the ER, front desk were nice and helpful, so was the x-ray technician. Some nurse in the ER made rude remarks and was judgemental. Worst part was Dr. Naomi Adler. Didnt explain diagnosis, didnt help with the illness and just discharged far too quick. Not fair whatsoever to treat patients like that.

ER is horrible. Doctors watching TV while nurses running around like crazy. Sometimes, they will forget to give you the medication. Other facilities show similar organizational issues. Sometimes, you get a person with knowledge sometimes not. Kaiser really makes it tough to get good information.

Horrible. Their suggestions just dont help at all. I have a sprained neck and I paid $40 just for the doctor to say "Oh just take Advil." THATS IT! No exercises or other types of medication. Doctors are lazy and this was the worst Ive been treated by a doctor.

They know how to treat people. Ive been there 2 times and they assisted me very well, but the fact they took 2 hours to see me I was exhausted of that. If they get that done in 30 minutes like one patient in 30 minutes that would be great

I arrived at 5AM with a critically slow heartrate, nausea and loss of consciousness. All staff -- nurses, LVN, doctors -- were very efficient, caring, professional and fully competent. I was rapidly stabilized.
