I accidentally found Snohomish Family Medical and Dr. Trotter when my son needed something looked at one night around 6 PM and our regular(at the time) clinic was closed. After that I signed up and have since Nov. 2015 been seeing him for all my ongoing as well as preventative medical needs. I find him to be very quick at understanding my situation and in particular how he broke up my medical challenges into groups, then created an action plan for me to follow to address each challenge. It has been a very good experience and I am looking forward to a healthier future as a result. He helped me realize a lot of this is under my control. and the importance of my attitude towards health. I also really like his nurse Lori. She is extremely kind, efficient, personable and approachable. Between them, I always feel better when I leave than when I came in. Incidentally, SFMC Medical Staff regularly take sabbaticals to some of the least fortunate places on Earth to provide care where none exists. We are so spoiled here and these Dr.s dont have to do that for any other reason than they care and it really shows. Oh and they have a Lab onsite and the staff there are also top notch. I am not a big fan of being poked with needles but they make it fast. Never had any problems. If you want to have some fun, call out Go Hawks to the young gentleman in the Lab. Well get him onboard yet. Thank you

Fist time coming to Snohomish Family Medicine. We made an appointment and were instructed to arrive 20 mins early to fill out paperwork. On our way in we got stuck in traffic and were approximately 5 minutes late r than requested (still 15 mins early). Upon checking in, and apologizing for our lateness, the receptionist proceeded to lecture us about punctuality. We filled out the paperwork (it took 2 minutes) and returning it to the receptionist (still before the scheduled appoinent) she informed us that, due to our lateness, the doctor would not be able to see us for our appointment but that we could be seen at the walk-in clinic they also have. She assured us that we would be seen as soon as possible. We waited for over an hour while several other patients (without appointments) arrived, were seen, and left before we were finally called bact to an exam room. Once in the exam room and told the doctor would see us soon. Weve been here for over two hours now and have not seen a doctor. Not a great first impression.

Been going to the Snohomish Family Clinic for years, most to the same doctor. Its close to home. Good care, doctors and nurses seem competent and caring. Referred me out for care (colonoscopy) they dont perform, which is fine with me. Never had a problem with a receptionist or scheduling. I like the way they remind me of my appointments. Yes, they take my plan. Sure there are poor paying over enrolled plans with Obamacare and Medicaid that very few clinics take. Get a clue folks -- doctors and nurses, not politicians and burrOcrats, provide health care.

The last 9 years they have been the main clinic we have gone to but I didnt see them much at all untill this year. I have seen just about every doc there, being sicker this last year than I have ever been, but the best pair - the doc I trust most - is Dr Trotter and his med assistant Lori. When I have had the most awful wounds treated, Lori has held my hand and Dr Trotter has made me better and gotten to the bottom of the problem to treat. They are competent and caring and I trust them. I also like the fact that there is a bible in every treatment room.

The receptionists were sweet and nice. However every time I come here I get treated like a child from the doctors. They seem to not take me coming in seriously. I was told my prescription was sent in by the doctor before I left and when I arrived at the pharmacy it had not been sent, I call back and the doctor was too busy with people and had not completed my prescription. Which I understand being busy but make sure everything is done with the patient before helping someone else, Im tired of being set aside and not feeling important enough for them.

Was excited to become a patient as I am new in the area loved reading that "To share the healing love of Christ with the people of our community and beyond through compassionate, comprehensive, ethical care of the highest quality." was their code. Unfortunately they would not take my husband and I as new patients because we are on DSHS :( This makes me sad and discouraged as we are just going through a hard time right now and if that is not "compassion" I am not sure what it is they are trying to sell.

Dr. Valerie Eckley is the best physician I have ever had. Her care is straight and direct. She is a doctor who thoroughly and competently makes decisions regarding your care. She considers the patients input, is very good at listening, and explains things very well. I trust her completely as I greatly admire her intelligence, honesty and lets get it done attitude! God bless my Dr. Eckley! Shes a ROCK STAR in the medical world!!!

We arrived 30 minutes before closing but the front desk "lady" was more concerned about going home than allowing my 3 year old and my pregnant self be seen by a doctor, because the wait would put her out an extra 30 minutes From going home. Wow. I have never been more upset with my hometown doctors office in my life. This is why we switched to providence.

I always get good treatment for a reasonable price. Dr. Eckley always treats me with kindness and respect. Andrea one of her MAs is also always smiling and kind.

Receptionist was extremely rude. Talked down to me as if I was a child. I am 29. Please fix this problem.
