So why did I come to Yin’s Acupuncture? Well, first it’s been highly recommended by several employees of Microsoft and I drive by it all the time. So I figure why not try it, I have nothing to lose. When I say I have nothing to lose I really meant it. I have Ulcerative Colitis and Sacroiliitis. If you ever heard of these diseases you’re probably aware that there’s no cure at least that’s what my gastroenterologist and physiatrist tells me. Angie and her father helped me in my time of need. Couple week’s back I was going through a serious flare up and experiencing very sharp Sacroiliitis pain in the SI joints. Flare up involved bloody stool and bowel movements up to 6 times a day. Sacroiliitis pains are similar to sciatic nerve pains, very sharp and can hardly walk. Western medication seems to have stopped suppressing my condition and my doctors’ approaches were more “trial and errors”. This is all they can do to find a med that works. If you ever notice western doctors rely on MRI, CT, X-Rays, blood work. If I’ve already been confirm with UC and SI diseases all they can really do is prescribe you historical medications that have worked on other patients. What if they don’t work on you or they stopped working after a year or two? What then. Also, have to consider all the side effects. Chinese medicine believes every person is different and your treatment is tailored towards YOU. As your body heals and change the medicine/herbs is adjusted to match. Enough about the logic behind Chinese medicine. You can Google this yourself. After my evaluation with Angie and her father, a plan of attack on my situation was devised. I had a couple Acupuncture (needles on specific chi points) sessions with her and she puts together a combination of Chinese Medicine herds to treat my condition. At the same time they discovered I also have night sweats, this was treated as well. My night sweats have nearly disappeared. My night sweats were severe up to the point where I had to change my PJs 2-4 times per night. As of now I still get a little sweaty, but not to the point where I need to change my PJ. Here’s the best part, my Sacroiliitis seems to have disapeared 90-95%. I’m not exactly sure, but I’m certain that either the Acupuncture needles or the Chinese herds were the cause. My wife and I went through all the possibilities, but all we can think of is that when these sessions started I slowly got better. As for my Ulcerative Colitis, I am in remission right now. Blood is gone and bowl movements are now 2-3 times per day. I would say this is this is very good news! And I have Angie and her father to THANK! If you’re a person that’s looking for a simple message…well, you can go anywhere. If you’re looking to find a cure for a medical condition I would highly recommend this place. Sacroiliitis is caused my SI joints. I would say if you have sciatic nerve is issues, back pain, any joint pain…well, this would be easy for Angie and her father. A condition as complicated as UC was put into remission….well, not sure what to say about that. I might want to visit my doctors and have them explain that to me. I pretty impressed with this place as they have helped me come closer to a cure than most doctors.

Dr Yin is the best. I went to Dr Yin for some of my fertility issues like irregular menstrual cycles and some other issues. I used to have short cycle with painful cramps (Had to take painkiller to overcome the pain) for years. Doctors would put me on birth control pills to make my cycle regular. But the pills made my body mess. After stopping BCP, i got my first cycle for 50 days. That really scared the hell out of me. I started with acupuncture & Chinese herbs at yin acupuncture. Thanks to Dr Yin, Amazingly my menstrual cycles had become regular within month after using Chinese herbal medicine. No more menstrual cramps during my cycle now.The acupuncture is also very relaxing and i fell asleep for every treatment. And also i was using iron pills for my low anemic levels. I would feel weak and low energy even i miss the iron pill for a day. But after taking the Chinese herbal medicine, i felt so energetic and active within a week. When my primary doctor checked my anemic levels recently, surprisingly the numbers are good even though if not taking iron supplements. The Chinese herbs helped me in lot of ways. I am so glad I found Dr Yin. I am very happy with the treatment. Dr yin is very helpful, friendly and makes you as comfortable during the procedure. She made me feel good about what to expect and came up with best treatment plan for what I wanted to achieve. My life is more balanced because of her and my symptoms have significantly reduced. She really knows what she is doing, I trust her wholeheartedly. I feel encouraged and would definitely recommend her to anyone without any hesitations.

If youre coming to this place just for relaxation, that works too, but thats really the least of what this place is for. Chinese Acupuncture & Massage goes way back and is a proven medical solution to many diseases and injuries. Unfortunately, given the number of Chinese massage places that are really prostitute places or for relaxation only, people easily look down on massage. This place is really about "medical massage & accupuncture." I came to this place as one day when I sit down and stood up, my back began to hurt and I couldnt stand straight easily. I couldnt sleep well either. This has happened before, and I went to the Swedish medical center where the doctor really couldnt do anything because my bones look fine and x-ray looks fine. The western doctor would send me off to do exercises or physical therapy, but they cant solve my immediate problem of pain (no I dont want to use pills) and difficulty to sleep. I came to find Yins from referral, and after a few sessions, Im healed. I know I still have to do exercises to better my muscle, but this solves my immediate pain and difficulty to sleep. I could stand straight again. Btw, sometimes the reason why they do acupuncture before massage is to relax your muscles first, for those who dont know. Because when the muscles are stiff, it takes the massage doctor to spend quite amount of effort to loose them up first.

T.D. Walters I hope you are fortunate enough, to someday, learn that your body has an intelligence beyond reason, and rational. Your body is a record of all your experiences: good, bad, and indifferent. It remembers even when you don’t. The practice of acupuncture is centuries old, and can open your world to something new in any session. You must leave your preconceived notions at the door and commit to the hour away from the distractions of the world. I’ve had eight sessions now and I would describe the process like peeling an onion. I let down my defenses and gave up on held in hurts, sometimes nearly lifelong patterns, caused by events or circumstances, only to feel a warmth and togetherness of my whole body. I am in harmony. Within three treatments, I was relieved of a burden I’ve carried twenty five years, interestingly I came to acupuncture with foot pain, repairing function in my feet allowed me to “lighten the load.” I felt the relief of natural peristalsis, which surprisingly, had been dysfunctional since I was three years old. Your body was there and is your history and remembers even if you forget or try to forget. I’ve experienced results beyond expectation from Yin’s Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Center. My practitioner is Angie Yin. I hope that someday you are fortunate to be treated by this gifted woman.
