I made an appointment to set up a primary care doctor on 9.15.15 since I have some medical issues which require me to get blood tests every three months. I fwd my past two years of medical history prior to my appt. Linda Petter spent an hour with me and did a thorough history. Her social skills and attention were very admirable, however there was absolutely no follow up with my blood tests results. She recommended a list of specialist that would be able to address my gastro and snoring issues. The specialists that she promised would be part of her practice were never available. I would be willing to drive to covington to get great care. I called repeatedly October, November to get results of my blood test conducted on 9.15.15. Even today on 2.12.16 I was in queue 20 minutes and no one answered the phone. The only person that answers is the after hours company. I still dont know if I tested positive for chicken pox as a child. The first visit she charges which is weird as I went there as a preventive care visit and I made that clear when I scheduled the appt. I never went back. Now I have to redo all my extra test she suggested I have done. Also when I needed an authorization of my specialty drug she claimed she could not approve it because she was unaware of my medical history. I give up! She repeatedly promised me that there would be follow up. She probably needs a new staff that does not lose documents. She did however was interested in scheduling my preventative care visit.

The last 2 times I have been to this office I waited an hour to see the Doctor. The first appointment was a standard physical. The second appointment wsa a recheck, which is the policy at their office. They will not just mail results; you must make an appointment (yes, another copay - which I paid last year). In the past I have noticed that they bill for EVERYTHING (not the most expensive, but definitely the most thorough.) This year, however, Dr. Petter billed my medical insurance using an unrelated dental code, claiming that I had seen her for TMJ. In reality I was there for my re-check, and while I was there I updated her regarding another doctors diagnosis of TMJ. Their billing department has been unreasonable and unprofessional. I will never recommend Dr. Petter to anyone.

Dr. Petter is a regular physician - NOT a dentist. I have been seeing Dr. Petter as a regular patient for over 10 years and have never waitied for an appointment more than 5-10 minutes. She is thorough, she LISTENS!!!, she is kind and most important she is an excellent diagnostician. A doctor that cares about keeping you healthy is hard to find. Ive moved but still travel to see her.
