Ive been having lower back pain since 2009 while on Active Duty, since then my flight doc and/or primary doc (depending if Im home or deployed) would give me muscle relaxer or even Vicodin for the pain and tell me to rest and stay off my feet for a few days. It worked...however it only masked the pain and not treat the underlining issue. Ive got out in 2012, getting an appointment with the VA is like giving birth! You have to wait for months to even get an appointment schedule, so Ive just dealt with the pain and it became the norm for me. Ive went untreated for a few months and my pain started to worsen. When my lower back pain flared-up, I would start to feel a numbing/tingling sensation on my outer thigh and pain on my right hip. Fast forward to today, I am now 8 months pregnant (YAY!). The pain is now more intense than ever :(. So instead of taking all these medications from the VA and my primary doc, I wanted to try a different route. Ive read a lot about chiropractic for back pain and pregnancy and I was just overwhelmed with knowledge. So I thought I give it a try. A co-worker referred me to Southcenter Chiropractic and that is where I met with Dr. Sahota. My first appointment he broke everything down for me and educated me on the importance of the health of my spine and how everything connects to it. Ive been seeing him once a week for an adjustment for the past 9 weeks and I love it! My experience with him as a pregnant woman with prior back pain has been more than awesome, he has helped me live my life as normal as possible. The pinching pain I use to feel on my lower back is not as constant as before, I still have issues with it, but its not EVERYDAY like it was before. I also dont feel the tingling sensation I use to get on my outer thigh, however I think I went untreated for so long that my outer thigh just stays numb, my hip dont bother me anymore. I know that seeing Dr. Sahota once a week has helped me live a better lifestyle, hes actually the first doctor that did not advise me to stay off my feet and rest, he said that its best to keep mobile and stretch so that I am not restricting any muscles, but not once did he advice that I should stay in bed. I am more aware of how and what I do to my body that can cause another flare up. Hes a very smart guy, he gives me a lot of advice on my pregnancy and how to avoid unnecessary pain. He has advised me how to breathe properly, how to get up from the lying position without putting too much pressure on my back, and also giving me tips on stretching. I look forward to seeing Dr. Sahota every week, that is the only reason I would actually drive from Tacoma to Tukwila, normally I would take the train and avoid rush hour. For those that are looking for help, give this place a shot. But 1 or 2 adjustments is not enough to feel relief, you have to be constant. It really helps, my husband even noticed the difference in me. He notice how much relief I get from seeing Dr. Sahota. Sorry for the super long review...I just wanted to give you guys an idea of what my experience is and how much pain I had endured prior to seeing Dr. Sahota. -Jackie

My family and I have been coming here for over 3 months now and have always had the best experience! Jill, their receptionist, is a sweetheart and has always gone above and beyond to accommodate our hectic schedules. She has always welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Dr. Virk is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He eased all of our initial concerns by patiently answering all of our many questions and helped set us up with a detailed plan, specific to each of our individual needs. He never rushed the process and never made us feel pressured in any way, like at some other places. All our interactions with Dr. Virk has been nothing but pleasant! We (myself, fiancee, and daughter) mainly get adjusted by Dr. Sahota. He is caring, gentle, and professional, and has made us all feel extremely comfortable since our very first appointment. With each adjustment, he talks to us step by step, letting us know what hes going to do and why hes doing it, answers any questions we have, and always gives us tips to leave with so we can further our progress in between appointments. We decided to get our daughter a plan as well, and she went from having a slight tilt/unbalance on one side to a corrected posture now! Dr. Sahota goes above and beyond to help our 4-year old feel safe and comfortable when she gets her adjustments done. When we get in now, shell automatically climb onto the bed and wait patiently for her turn! He even involves her and lets her "help" him when its my turn. Shes grown a newfound passion to "adjust" everyone when were at home! lol Were only about half-way through our treatment plan, and have another few months to go, but weve already seen incredible progress and results! All in all, weve had consistently great experiences with everyone here at Southcenter Chiropractic and highly recommend this place to everyone!

First most, we have known this Doctor for a long period of time and his capabilities on how he helps patients. However, I do not regret stating this, but this man was BEYOND RUDE today. We had went in this clinic today. One of my cousins was in extreme pain for his back. So we had decided to walk in and see the availability for a treatment possible for my cousin. Mr. Virk comes out and starts saying "this is not INDIA. How can you just walk in here and think you will receive some sort of treatment. You cant get any treatment without X-ray". From him saying this today, was really UNPROFESSIONAL. He could have simply replied PROFESSIONALLY that he only takes appointments. This would have been much of a better answer. My cousin was in extreme pain and needed a bit of adjustment. This DR. VIRK only has the equipment to adjust peoples back and he doesnt have any other equipment. He could have attended my cousin but he didnt. My father knows him and I told him that he told us that we could be helped out with something. His reply was the coming from INDIA reply. First of all, we are well-educated and born & raised here in the United States of America. We do not know what is going on India. It seems like hes the one who came from India and he might have had that kind of experience himself. He was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. He shouldnt treat people who come there to receive treatment. If he calls himself a doctor, then he should know what the duties & responsibilities of a doctor is. There are MANY ways to say no in a manner-ful way.

Guys and Gals, Let me tell you, I have been going to south center chiropractic for a few months now. For starters as a younger adult male very involved in extreme sports! Hockey, Motorcross, snowboarding and many other physically demanding hobbies. You may or may not realize the intense impact these sports/hobbies have on your body. I felt and thought this myself until I have grown older. I was involved in an accident causing compression to my spine, leaving me in a world of discomfort and experiencing many side affects from the injury. Cold sweaty hands, feet always having tension in my neck and back. Lack of mobility and flexibility. I tried the doctor, pain medication, physical therapy, as well as chiropractic in another area in which I resided. I can not express my gratitude enough in how fortunate I was to come across such a great clinic. Served with such perfesionalism and immense care and high quality treatment. They are very knowledgeable in their practice. This said, I sleep better, I have more energy, I feel better all the way around. I gave up on looking for assistance in resolving my pain and discomfort. I recommend to those in need of similar care to check this place out! Very friendly and family oriented. A+ staff always with smiles, and greeting you with true genuine hospitality every visit. Highly recommended! Thank you Dr. Virk and Staff
