Going through Mental Illness with my son is a struggle daily amd I am sure that I am NOT alone. He had gone to the ER and then discharged with no Meds because SMH wants him to do a follow up. At this time we as a family had blood shedded, sleepless nites and all due to his episodes. He had made 5 visitations to the ER within less than 2 weeks. My last attemp, left work early to get help for my son. Spoke with someone else other than his Doctor who was out as to why my son wasnt able to get anywhere and she was really caring and LISTENED. She was on it for my son on this day. In doing so, she had assigned an appt. this very day to come in for a injection of Ivagen. Ivagen will help him with his symptoms and will get better according to the couselor. The injection was administered and we sat down with a counselor upon my request. My son litterally had spoken red flags KILL, Wants to go to Fairfax repeatedly to the counselor and the counselor who sat with us to hear our concerns after getting an injection of Ivagen told my son allow the medicine to stimulate/work into his sytem and that You really dont want to go over there with THOSE other people. WTF? REALLY? He was just discharged 2 weeks prior to this day and He has been at Fairfax for sometime in the past years. Well, on this very same day of Ivagen, it had worsen his symptoms. Had no choice, called the popos in or else it would of been his life or someone in the house. There are other staffs that are very very very caring, good at what they do and some well you can sum it up based upon my review. Oh and by the way I did call this counselor back during his episode the following day and her tone of voice was NOW concerning and stated to call the popos.

I have been waiting for a new Psychiatrist since January 2016, and Im still waiting, to let everyone who thinks this is a place to get comfortable with a specific person to help you get your mental better, think again, they are interns, every 6 months you will get someone new or no one at all, forgotten. They lost me as a patient, friend, and positive advertisement... nothing but negative on how they treat people who have a hard time and need a little help feeling better, too much stress all around. -Not even 1 star

i wish there is 0 star because i was going as outpatient for drugs and alcohols, i was doing because i got court order just recently my case manager she make a lot of mistake on me so i was try to find out when she found out i was trying to complain her SHE CALL ME N SAID FOR YOU NO MORE class. like she knew if i get kick out so i am going to lock up.
