It is definitely hard writing a review because I have a hard time finding the perfect words to describe this absolutely amazing exceptional facility. Growing up in Washougal, we always used another local vet for our pets. My mom made the choice to visit Orchard Hills for a second opinion and has not left since. Not only did our former family pets receive absolutely amazing care from Orchard Hills so does my moms new pet, in addition to my pet and my sisters. We all had a hard time having to put down our two older family pets a few years ago... It was especially hard on my mom who had them at her house once my sister and I moved out on our own. Orchard Hills did absolutely everything they could to make both Sassy and Bailey comfortable. And when quality of life was gone, and the choice to put them down was made....Orchard Hills was right there by my moms side as they had been throughout both cats final days. I thought it was especially touching that when she did have to put them down, she received hugs and a beautiful sympathy card. It was absolutely refreshing and touching at the same time to see such an amazing team that truly love what they do, care so much for the animals and pet owners they see. After that experience, my sister and I both and even my mom now with her new pet continue to see that exceptional level of service each and every time were there. There are not enough words to truly explain how amazing this facility and its staff are. I could not be more grateful for them! Thank you so much Orchard Hills! You are a blessing to our family!

My puppy "children" Dax and Sasha are in GREAT hands at Orchard Hills. I have only been bringing them to OHAH for a year (previously used other local vet), but now I would not go anywhere else! Dr. Bargar, I cant say enough about you! I feel so comfortable and confident with Dax and Sasha in your care. You have a wonderful hospital and staff. You are always looking out for my pets and my pocketbook. I appreciate that. Dr. Gilmartin followed up with the lead veternarian at DoveLewis ER vet in Portland last June while Dax was there for 2 weeks with aspiration pneumonia. She would either then call me or took my calls every evening to go over his treatment plan and address my questions and concerns. I cannot say enough about her compassion, care, and follow up To the entire staff; you are the very best! I wanted to especially note Breanna and Rachael. Breanna is so helpful, answering random questions I come up with; like yesterday. "Do dogs get seasonal allergies?" She knows right away. Rachael has a dog similar to my Sasha and offers great suggestions for "handling" my wild girl. She is very knowledgeable with all the procedures. I look forward to bringing Dax and Sasha to Orchard Hills Animal Hospital for many years!

In 2003 while living in Beaverton, I adopted a puppy (T-Bone) from a shelter closing their doors. On his third day with us, T-Bone began vomiting blood. I ran him to the nearest vet where he tested positive for Parvo. They placed him in isolation (A broom closet) and wouldnt let us visit. After 7 painstaking days and THOUSANDS of dollars later they asked us to let him go. My boyfriend at the time (now husband) decided to pick him up and travel all the way to Washougal to "his vet" for a second opinion. Dr. Bargar waited after hours for us to get there! T-Bone was in sad shape but Dr. Bargar gave it his all and saved his life. They kept him in the back office away from other animals but where we could pop in and visit him. It took only 3 days to get our puppy back to health! Sadly, after 8 years he developed lung cancer. But even through that, Dr. Bargar cared enough to assist his passing while he stayed in his favorite place...the front seat of my husbands car. We love that he cares that much to help all the family.

We love OHAH! The entire staff are the kindest, most sincere, informative and most professional group we have ever been to. The office is clean, well organized, efficient, comfy and pleasant to visit. We have many pets and are frequent, long-time customers, we have never been disappointed with the loving care each pet has received. It feels satisfying to know you can trust the opinions of the doctors, ask as many questions as you wish and make choices based on shared opinions. They never talk you into options that you prefer not to choose after being sufficiently informed. The doctors make ethical recommendations. We cant say enough about the positive experiences we have had at OHAH. Thank you all for the quality care you have given our pets over many years. B and C Teeling, Camas, WA

For the last six years, we have brought our dog Maggie to Orchard Hills for care. In that time, she has endured many health struggles, including cancer and spontaneous glaucoma resulting in loss of her eye. All techs and especially the vets have been extremely supportive and caring during these times. Real pros, and show true compassion for the animals and caring for the animals health conditions. They are very competitively priced for services and products and I know that Maggie - and we - are always in great and capable hands when we go there. Now, as Maggie enters her twilight years, there isnt anywhere else we would ever consider taking her for veterinary services.

We LOVE Orchard Hill Animal Hospital and would not trust anyone but Dr. Bargar and Dr. Perchick with all our fur babies (and we have 7 lol). The staff and doctors at OHAH always go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our fur babies are getting exactly what they need, whether that means keeping me calm on the phone when my boy Junior decided it was smart to play with the cat and got his ear cut open, or whether its running tests to figure out what kinda mystery infection our girl Cocoa had, OHAH staff and doctors are AMAZING. Cant wait to bring Cocoas puppies in later this week to meet everyone at their first appointment!

I moved to Washougal from Texas. I brought my 9 year old black pug, Bella into the Orchard Hills Animal Hospital with a plethora of issues. I am extremely happy with the care and compassion for mom and dog that Dr. Gilmartin and her staff provided us. They spent an hour with us explaining the "great northwest" allergy issues that we dont have in Texas. The exam was extremely thorough. The facility is extremely clean and inviting! Upon discharge procedures Dr. Gilmartin took the time to sum up Bellas issues in a written form. Believe me, if your animal has issues this is the place to go!

Our family has been going to Orchard Hills Animal Hospital for 4 years now. The staff are extremely welcoming and warm when you walk through the door. The two wonderful veterinarians (weve seen both) take the time to talk with about your beloved pets and if you have concerns, they are more than happy to discuss each and every detail thoroughly with you. We are so glad that one of our friends told us about this vet because we are truly happy with the outcome and have referred other friends to them in return. Fair prices, good vets, friendly staff, you cant go wrong!
