I have had pets for over 30 years, and they have two vets at Paws and Claws that are the best I have ever worked with. Dr. Huntsinger and Dr. Pollock are not only caring about the animals, but extremely knowledgeable in their field. Hands down, the best vets, ever, really. Unfortunately, I just went in for an appointment a few weeks ago and had the worst experience in my life. So bad, I had to write this review........weeks later. The appointment went fine, but the service at the front desk was unbelievably bad. I have been taking my two dogs there for over 6 years, and have referred more friends, family and neighbors than I can count. There was a man and a woman working the front desk, both of whom I use to know as both have worked there for numerous years, however when I walked in this time they acted like was a stranger. My dogs were excited to be there (only vet they have been to they LIKE going to) but the lady at the front desk was rolling her eyes at them. No hello, no nothing. My appointment goes great (as always) and the care I received was phenomenal (as always) and then when I go to check out, I get to deal with the horrible attitudes at the front desk. After dealing with the rudeness, and spending $253.00 of my own hard earned money, my daughter saw the two at the front desk making faces behind my back. How old are we? Is that how you respect your customers? Its so, so, sad. This place use to be like coming home, and I was so energetic about spreading the word about this great place. But with these two angry, rude, arrogant people working the front desk its almost unbearable. So 3 stars because two of the vets there are unbelievable, but I have never felt so disrespected, what a disappointment.

Okay. So we adopted a beautiful little kitten from the Humane Society. From adopting an animal from the Humane Society you receive a free veterinary examination. So we schedule an appointment through Paws and Claws and we go in for the appointment. First of all, they forget to even do the vaccinations that are required which the humane society said were due. They claimed that the vaccinations were due much later...which as we later discovered was incorrect. They then forgot to take the temperature. They checked for fleas and then discredited us not using their brand of flea medication...So as we are about to check out of our visit they decide that we owe them $80 for them doing absolutely nothing. We realize that this is incorrect and then the receptionist is like, "Oh, I am so sorry!" and then she swipes my credit card a few more times and then the total is $160. She says, "Well, I guess you can just use that as a credit for future appointments". So, we leave and then get home and we found that they totally screwed us over. Their office is just an entire scam. They have the worst service I have ever experienced.

I was working as a kennel attendant for P&C for a little under 3 months. I walked out of that job in the middle of my shift because I actually witnessed one of the assistants (I will not name her. But she does still work there, hence my review) being VERY rough with a clients dog. That poor lab was already nervous to be there to have a small injury to take care of! There is no excuse for yelling and cursing at the animal, jerking him around like a rag doll, and dragging him by the skin on his neck and back. As an employee of a veterinary clinic, you are supposed to provide world class care for the animals that come through those doors. Treating them as if they were your own pets should come easily! But all this assistant ever did was complain about how much she hates her job and mistreat such a sweet dog. I did inform the manager of the situation after I left and do you know what he did? Absolutely NOTHING. As a former employee and former client, I do not recommend them.

I have been to a lot of vets in the past, and this is by far the best one I have ever been to. I have had three pets to take here over the past 10 years, two of which Ive had to say goodbye to, and paws n claws was with me every step with real compassion and love of animals. Every doctor and tech has been great, but Dr Pollock has really won me and my pets over. You can tell that she very truly cares about your pets and takes as much time as Ive ever needed to examine or discuss my pets with me. I dont know how much other vets are charging these days so you may be able to call around and get a cheaper price, but remember that with most things you get what you pay for, and for me, my pets are family so I would never be cheap for them. Thank you paws n claws staff for your great service and care!

The veterinarian’s at this clinic have been amazing. Our little dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer and we made a decision to keep her alive as long as she wasn’t suffering. The support and compassion we received from these two veterinarian’s Christina Huntsinger and Monica Pollock was amazing and so appreciated. We received calls after hours, just checking in supporting us and answering all our questions, we couldn’t be happier with this clinic. I also wanted to mention this was the first time visiting both veterinarians, which made it even more amazing. If I ever decide to get another dog, I will absolutely come to this clinic.

A new cat, seven years old, came to live with us. She got pneumonia and breathing problems soon after our home became her new home. She was very ill and got worse on Saturday morning. I called Paws and Claws and Dr. Pollock saw our wonderful Madisen who needed attention to improve her breathing problems. I was most impressed with their quick treatment and including me in her care while there so she was not so stressed with another new location in her life. I am thankful for Dr. Pollock and her staff and very pleased with their fine professional expertise and care of our cat. She is doing great now.

I did not have an appointment, but they were happy to work me in. The receptionist was very friendly. It seemed pretty busy, and there were all sorts of animals in the lobby. My dog actually seemed to like it there, and wasnt trying to run away. I didnt have to wait long to get in to a room. The vet was very nice and taught me some things I did not know about dogs. I could tell that they really care about animals. Its just too bad they dont see horses too! I will be coming back when its time for my next shots!

Be going there for 5 years with our 3 large dogs and today was the worst experience Ive ever had with a vet. We called, made appt was assured they could handel all three. Showed up on time, waited 45min, vet a no show,no communication other thantold they had afew walk in emergencies, a phone call would of been nice. The place was dirty, unorganized, we left. Somethings changed there, stay away. Too bad use to be a good professional vet. On to another.

Its hard to talk about the decisions you make for your pets, when you think that it might be your fault that your pet is ill or dying. Lots of that guilt isnt true; some is. If we had been wealthy we would have done much more for our boys and girl. That said, the Paws & Claws Clinic staff have given the ABSOLUTE BEST for each of our 4-legged family members, both healthy and ill. We will continue to refer others to this business.
