Awesome caring and incredibly honest staff! I took my dog for an emergency because two friends recommended me to go there. My dog, Gracie, had been part of a hit and run and was in horrible pain. The other offices in the area were busy and so was Mill Creek, but the receptionist at Mill Creek said they would try to fit me in as soon as the DVM got back from a farm call. Gracie was the first patient seen when he got back to the office, AND he even carried her from my truck. DVM Mark Winning and Vet Tech Kim were not only gentle and caring towards Gracie, but they handled my concerns and emotions well, too. They are keeping Gracie as comfortable and as calm as possible. Originally, Winning suggested surgery for the fractured hip joint, but a day after x-rays pointed towards surgery, Gracie was doing way better than expected. Two days after the accident, Winning said that surgery could wait and he would like to let Gracie heal with time. This saved me financially and maybe unnecessary surgery if we had scheduled the surgery right away. The honesty of the staff is priceless. Their office stays busy because word gets around about their reputable business. Unlike other veterinarians Ive been too, I didnt see them appear overwhelmed by too many pets. They are extremely organized and made sure the vet has plenty of time to see each patient for as long as necessary. They educated me on how to take care of my dog when I take her home, even gave me great advice dry vs. wet food diet. Im thankful for all that they are doing. My first visit was an emergency visit for my dog who had been hit by a van. I was seen as soon as the Dr. Winning came back from a farm call. The staff made the emergency a priority. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation.

I would recommend this Veterinary the office and especially Dr Winning to all my friends. He is the most honest caring person I have ever meet. We have had three pets with serious conditions and he and his staff treated our dogs as if they were their own. They were honest about pricing and about the chance of recovery our dogs had. He asking chances of our dogs recover from the illnesses. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about pet care and the special needs of our dogs. I am very blessed knowing we are not just a customer here. Dr winning and his staff remembers who you are and each of your pets name and history. Thank you for all your hard work and thank you for caring for our pets!

We brought in a cat for emergency treatment. We were told it was an extra $90 - thats okay if we get EMERGENCY service. No one did triage. They just stuck us in a room then took care of two other customers before us. We were getting ready to go elsewhere. The vet finally appeared, he had a huge attitude because we took too long to explain what was wrong. He shoved the cat back in the carrier and shut the door hard on his face. If the vet didnt like us, HE SHOULD NEVER TAKE IT OUT ON THE PET. THE PET IS DEFENSELESS. He has some MENTAL PROBLEMS to do that to a pet.

I went there with my cat pooping blood got there at open of office so I had to pay a walk in few of $100 then I wait from 8 to 8:45 and the vet finally came in and was like stop talking about you issues and tell me about the cat. So Im just starting to tell him (by the way he had a chart for the visit which was supposed to be at 12:30) and he started to be aggressive and way very rude and unprofessional. The shoved me cat in the carrier on his face so I slaped his had away And I will never be going back there ever.

Dr. Winning and his staff have been our veterinary doctors for two decades. Hes seen to our four legged family members, horses to hamsters from birth to paradise and every time, amazes me with their genuine compassion and care. Very little can ease the worry surrounding an ill or injured loved one but those with the knowledge of healing coupled with a genuine love of animals can do wonders. Price was doubled for a surgery WITHOUT our consent. To make make it worse....our dog only survived a very short time following the surgery, Dr was very aware his chances of survival were slim, so now we are stuck with a huge bill and lost our dog!
