I just moved from San Diego to San Mateo,while in San Diego, my cocker spaniel visited the USDAVIS hospital and was a patient for Governor Animal Clinic. After meeting Dr. Connor and her staff today, I will have to suggest that both clinics in San Diego get a reality check on their service and caring for our pet. I was taken back to be checked in and seeing ON TIME and that ALL of the patients appts, are kept within schedule. Important as well, was the pricing, that as a Single mom, did not have to break the piggy bank to care for my dog. ALL questions, doubts and concerns were answered pleasantly and my dog was VERY happy.... I am glad for the previous reviews that made me choose them, I certainly recommend the clinic. Thanks.

I would give these Vets an average rating but I felt like they sold me pricey products that I didnt need so Ive lowered the rating by one star. Also, I wasnt so impressed with the Vet. She was pleasant enough and seemed knowledgeable, but I dont believe that I received top line service which might actually justify the total high cost of the visit. She didnt spend much time with my dog and I felt hurried. Understandably since the lobby was busy, however, if I saw the doctor on the street I dont think she would recognize me or my dog. The office visits are priced fair, but beware because they obviously make their money by selling marked up product. I wont use these vets in the future.

El Camino Pet Clinc is truely a special place. Dr Schmidt is one of the best, she takes the time to get to know you and your dog and listens to you and never talks down to you. We have had the pleasure of dealing with the Pet Clinic for 11 years and would never think of going anywhere else. We recently lost out beloved pet and the staff at El Caminoi Pet Clinic were truly special in helping us and our dog. If you want a great clinic and a staff that works with you, look no farther...Dr Schmidt, Coco & I thank you for all your work......

Ive been through a lot with all the doctors here and can not say enough about them.They are kind, considerate, and very smart in all areas.I must also mention that anyone knows that the staff at any doctors office is what makes your experience positive or negative from the beginning.All the staff here are wonderful people and so easy to work with every single event. All the staff and all the doctors are simply awesome.I would NEVER go somewhere else.Bottom line...They all CARE.

We have been customers of this clinic since moving to the Bay Area in 2011. They have always treated us and our two cats with the best care and respect. We never feel like they have over-charged us for any services or recommended unnecessary treatments. I would happily recommend anyone with pets who love like family to take them here.

Super nice vets who adore animals. We take our little puppy there and they are very gentle and nice to him. The doctors never rush and are totally receptive to our barrage of questions every time. If you ever have questions or issues you can also call them up and they do a bit of consulting over the phone.

I like this small pet clinic: its always clean, quite, and welcoming. The doctor is very gentle with my cats and gives me a lot of advice and encouragement. Do not buy tick medicine from them since its hugely overpriced. The great place overall.

Weve really enjoyed this pet clinic - just moved into the area with a dog that we baby (to put it lightly). They are wonderful, and in a great location. Easy to get to and park, and very friendly. Its a nice, clean location.
