I LOVED this Dr. for over 20 years..... Now I cannot say the same. The practice has gone down steadily and I now feel it is not in your or your pets best interest to go there. By being the only doctor in the office and not turning anyone away has made it extremely difficult to have quality care. My dog just recently was injured by the staff while he was sedated to have an ear procedure . His toe was broken by being jammed into or being taken out of his cage. He also was not brought around well before the pick-up time so he received an injury to his pelvis by being splayed on the floor and being dragged by the support staff..... Disappointment is all I can say at this point. My dog is trying to recover from the injuries inflected by this office as I write this. If he does not, I WILL file charges with the Veterinary Board. I probably should anyway so no one else receives the same "quality" of care that my animal did.... It makes my heart sad to do this, but, we were very loyal for a long long time. My dog has recently passed...... I will now file charges with the Vet Board because I went to another Vet and took ex-rays of Rowdys front paw. His two inner toes were broken and the Vet said they had been broken with violence..... No animal should be subject to that!!! My dog was healthy before that operation, but, in TWO months he was gone. Be careful, We trusted him for over 20 years.... He might still be a good vet, but his staff is not what he needs to support our animals. We paid the ultimate price and now are without our loving animal

Walker Street has gone from a decent veterinary hospital, that didnt charge ridiculous fees, to a DUMP. Their people - from front staff to doctors - are not only rude, but they charge for extra procedures you didnt approve and threaten to keep your animal until you pay. I dropped my kitten off to be spayed, and the girl at the front desk didnt speak enough English to have a rudimentary conversation. I asked if there was some paperwork I should fill out and she said "no". I asked how much the spay and shots would cost and it took 20 minutes for her to come back and tell me she didnt know. The girl in the back yelled "$69.00 for the spay", and I asked if that was ALL INCLUSIVE? EVERYTHING? ALL THE TESTS? And she said "yes". Later, I find out my stray cat was pregnant and they never contacted me to let me know, and laughed about it when I got upset. They also charged an extra $15.00 for her abortion and when I told them this wasnt the deal, they said "well you have to pay it or you cant have your cat", and on top of that, added a snippy remark "lets see if you can even pay this". Doctor Dana called my daughter a dope twice and Sue, Molly & the rest of the gang joined in on snide remarks and finger gestures. None of them are professional and they clearly care more about money than your pet. Im actually SHOCKED they are still in business. Horrible, horrible people.

My wife and I were traveling with our 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Sophie when she became sick with vomiting, bloody stool, lethargy, and wouldnt eat or drink. We were worried sick and couldnt find any vets in the area that would take walk-ins. Then we spotted the Walker Street Vet Clinic in Orland. What a wonderful experience! They took us right in and Dr. Duran examined her within a half an hour of us arriving. They ran blood tests, asked us a myriad of questions,and we had vaccination records faxed to his office. They kept her for the day and gave her IV fluids and steroid drugs to fight a probable case of K9 colitis. We took her in the next day for another examination before we continued on our trip. Dr. Duran and his staff treated us like family, explained her condition in simple-to-understand terms and did his best to work with our travel situation. Dr.Duran even gave us his personal cell phone number and asked us to give him regular progress reports on her condition. These people have a very busy practice but they are extremely efficient and they CARE about animals. We are deeply indebted to him and his wonderful staff for being there for us. I drive 30min to get to Dr.Dana. He is the only doctor there currently and is always swamped but no matter what makes time for you. He is extremely thorough and will give you a good education while you are there. He will explain in detail everything he is talking about. I had another vet who barely touched my dog and gave me a thumbs up saying healthy pup. First thing Dr.Dana does is give a good scratching then checks teeth, combs through fur, checks their eyes, and plenty else. That is all just routine before we even talk about the issue, he is very thorough and I love it. I dont care how busy they are or how long I have to wait, I trust Dr.Dana above all else.

NONE of them have come close to the wonderful care, concern, expertise, and service that I have received from the Walker Street Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Dana, Dr. Duran, and the entire staff have always been there for me..........even in times of sorrow. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!

I cant describe in words how awesome this vet is! The doctor is amazing at what he dose! The staff is very nice and comforting! They work as a team and I love it! Such kind hearted people! I recommend this vet to everyone! This is where my dogs will be going for now on!

No one will ever see my dog Django other than Dr. Dana. The Doc has kept my boy free of illness, neutered him when the time came, microchipped him, and has kept all his shots updated in a very efficient way.

Walker Street Vet clinic has a wonderful staff and doctor Dana is the best. He seems to have a way with the animals. Everyone there is very helpful. I cant say enough about this great clinic.
