My cat has been going here for a few months now and so far she has been passed around to 4 different vets.....only one of them had a good bedside manner. I know that you may be thinking that the problem may lie with me or my cat but I can assure you it doesnt. Maybe this is jut the Banfield way but when I moved up here and joined Banfield it would be ran like a private Veterinary Clinic. My cats have gone to different practices over the years and most often are seen by the same vet, if the one that they typically see is not available, then Ive been told and asked If Im okay with seeing another. Ive also noticed that the vets here (with the exception of one that weve seen) arent very friendly. I understand that theyre on a time-constraint but is it really that difficult to act like a professional AND be KIND?? The other thing that bothers me even more is the lack of follow-up. Almost every single appointment or time that I call in for something that Ive been asked to follow-up on....I DO NOT get a call for!!! One time, I called to ask the vet something and the receptionist asked ME to call back because the vet was in surgery. I suppose it was probably the best thing anyways since I already knew that If I had left a message I more than likely wouldnt have gotten a call back anyways. I will say that I have visited other Banfield locations and have not received poor service AT ALL! In addition, my sister takes her cat to another Banfield location a few miles in the other direction and she said that she has never experienced anything like I have. I think Im about to switch to hers!!

I havent been here in about six months, but Ive had nothing but good experiences. They discovered a malignant tumor on my dog and after his surgery, the veterinarian explained the whole process and follow-up over the phone to me. They always say my dogs name when I walk in and everyone is so sweet. I live in SE Portland but I still make the drive up because I like this location and how organized they are.

Vets are always changing and the charts seems to not reflect the prior Drs plan for your pet. Manager is rude and condescending. He should be ashamed of his manners. I get meds filled every six month and they dont keep records of it. This place is so bad that even the staff told me they recommend Columbia vet over Benfield. Very sad.
