Cat Simcox

Dr. T treated our 2 cats exceptionally and helped us to keep our elderly cats as long as humanely as possible. One lived to be almost 15 yrs. and the other lived more than 20 years. He helped us through diet, meds. He helped us through very difficult challenges, as long as they were viable. Each lived through out own disabilities...one was blind at the age of 19 and survived successfully until she was 20+. He was dropped off, de-clawed, amongst a group of abandoned cats. He Dr. T then helped us to let them go when all avenues became exhausted.He was de-clawed and left abandoned with other abandoned cats.He was injured severely At the end, they informed us that continuing their very special lives would be so much more harmful and/or painful than the life they were living. He was able to break through our denial and provide our animals reality. Both our cats had medications to relieve their pain and suffering, and when the pain meds overtook their ability to recover, he so very much helped us to let them go. As painful as this was for both our cats, he let us give our cats life until it was so much more painful than continuing to do so. And so we ultimately let them go. And after they left this world, Dr. T and his staff continued to give us comfort and help us grieve. I am crying mournfully as I write this memorial to our most fabulous cats that so enriched our lives. In the end, I believe they are better off. That is the only thing that gives us any relief. We are grateful that Dr. T recognized that our animals pain would be so much more intense than continuing to be amongst us. We are moving forward and hopefully we will find our next rescue cat/s that need us. Because we really do need a new cat/s to rescue us. C & S

I have taken two of my cats Bubba and Casey to this vet and while its a bit out of the way for me to drive to Bodega Bay from Sebastopol (esp. With a cat in the dreaded carrier), once you find a great vet or doctor you stick with them. Great doc, very nice, great staff, answered all my questions, and my cats got better fast. I think the cost was reasonable. Wasnt cheap but it wasnt outrageous by any means. Follow-up visits were included in initial cost but i didnt need to go because the treatment worked right away. Five stars!!!

THE BEST, period. Dr. T and his staff took special care of my bulldog for the first four years of her life. They treated her like part of the family. Their prices are fair and the quality of work they provide is flawless. We live in NYC now, but have at times thought of moving back if anything, for the care Sugar received in Bodega Bay.
