This vet clinic totally feels like family! Every person from the Receptionist to the Veterinarians have a deep calling for helping pets. I have observed this first hand and Ive see how much of their work they take home with them everyday because the time clock doesnt stop at 6pm. I have been involved with animals all my life, both in work and in my personal life. I previously owned and operated my own professional pet care business for many years and I also was a co-founder of the Oregon Pet Sitters Association. So, I have had opportunities over the years to visit a lot of veterinary practices and this one has always been one of my favorite clinics. Sadly because a mobile pet care business leaves little time for anything else, after many years in business, I decided to dissolve it and I came to work for Dr. Bob. I have never regretted my decision to do that. I have been here for over 12 years and most of my co-workers have been here longer than that. I feel that fact alone says a lot about a business and the man who built it. I know as an employee many of you may think I should not review a business that I work at, but I was and I am still a client first and foremost. This clinic has been open since 1975 and the mission for this practice is: "We are dedicated to providing superior medical care in a warm, supportive and fun atmosphere to strengthen the connection between our clients and their companion animals." The core values of this practice are Integrity, Quality, Value and Compassion! I encourage you to come in and see for yourself. As a client of this practice, I have brought other pets here over the years but currently I bring my German Shepherd Aria here. I am very fortunate to be able to see the quality of the care, skill of the surgeons and the compassion of the team up close and personal. The trust I have in this clinic and their doctors is significant enough to justify an honest 10 star review but I cant give them that many stars. I am happy to recommend this clinic not only as an member of the team but as a client of the practice myself and that is the honest truth! :D

I started bringing my puppy here because of a referral from a friend. During every visit, the vet left it up to me to control my dog during shots, temperature taking, and the exam itself. At first I thought this was the standard across all practices, but it is not. Im sure other dog owners can relate, but its pretty difficult to control a rambunctious puppy during these kinds of procedures, and a dog owner is certainly not trained on these methods like a vet assistant is; and, you would assume if youre acting as a vet assistant during the exam, the price would be much less than what this vet charges. I made a few appointments because of a skin rash and all over itchiness my dog was having, and instead of acknowledging the steps I took to resolve this issue beforehand, they chastised my methods, and tried to convince me the issue was fleas, and that the only flea medicine that is actually effective was the one they sold. They didnt acknowledge the fact that there was absolutely no flea dust present, no sign of fleas on our other animals or in our house, and flea medicine had been regularly administered since we got him. Furthermore, during the exam I scheduled because of an all over rash, the Vet that came in did not once look at the rash, or ask where it was located. She looked at his teeth (while I held his head) and into his ears, but when I told her the rash was located on his underbelly, she disregarded that and went on to tell me that I needed to buy the flea medicine. Overall, I dont recommend this vet to anyone. I actually feel kind of bad writing this in general, but at the same time I have been so dissatisfied with the service and care they provided that I feel an obligation to share my experience. Do not recommend.

A neighbor ran over my daughters kitten last week, so we took our precious kitty to the Cornelius Veterinary (it was the closest one at the moment). As soon as we got there Dr.Hope Flint, received us and she began to evaluate how bad our kittys injuries were and then told us how much it would cost. I told her that I could pay a certain amount right way, and pay the rest as soon as my husband got there. She then refused to treat my kitten. I begged her, my daughter was on her knees pleading and Dr.Flint continued to deny our kitten the medical attention she needed. After being denied medical attention we decided to take her to another veterinary, unfortunately on the drive there our kitten passed away in the back seat. My daughter is traumatized from this experience; my husband and I are enfuriated and our family is suffering the loss of our beloved kitten Sully. I urge every pet owner to seek another vet if their pets are under the care of Dr.Hope. She is clearly not compassionate for others and their needs, and does not have true devotion for her career and patients.

Loved my recent visit to Cornelius Veterinary Clinic! I recently moved to the area and was recommended to Cornelius Veterinary Clinic by some friends. We were due for a wellness exam and two vaccinations. I loved the pain free process of becoming a new client. The paperwork was minimal and the staff was organized and efficient. Above all, Dr. Bob and his staff was incredibly friendly and patient. I wouldnt call us an easy client, Jupiter (my 3 year old dog) is very anxious and skittish at the doctors office. Dr. Bob and his assistant gave Jupiter some great care and affection allowing her time to calm down and adjust. At previous clinics, Ive felt that veterinarians get in/get out and move on to the next patient, its an impersonal experience. However, the experience was completely different here. The staff at Cornelius Vet Clinic took time to get to know us, and you can tell that they truly cared. If you want a vet who is gentle, compassionate and highly knowledgeable, then I would recommend you go to Cornelius Veterinary Clinic for your companion pet care needs!

My 6 year old cat came down with a infection and the procedure was going to cost me 1700. I put down 1400 to save my cat. it had to be done soon I scheduled a appointment that day to try to work out any payments and she said no and refused to help me if I didnt have the full 1700 right then and there. I came back with 1500, a hour and a half later explaining how I can get the rest in a few hours I was going to start selling my stuff. She explained that she can hold onto my cat for a fee while I go and sell my stuff to afford the procedure and I was gone only for 3 hours on my way back to save my cat. He was pronounced dead when I arrived to pay for the procedure. they just let my cat sit in die in their vet...good bye chester I will miss you so much.. Hope flint for you to say it was my fault because of my lack of money was the reason he died while I was in full tears crying over my cat is the most rudest thing u could ever say to a human in such hard times.
