I was totally unhappy with the care given to my pet. First off when I arrived she couldnt find his folder so I had to stand and wait forever. Then she came back without the file and looked it up on the computer. Then I inquired about the bath and nail trimming ect that I had requested and she couldnt find it on his chart on the computer.... Really? what exactly did they do. So then she again leaves me standing in the front office and goes to find out if hes had his bath. Comes back and tells me yes he has and its 37.50 extra, I paid 208.00 for 8 days and was told at the time I paid that was the amount I owed unless I was gone longer.... therefore I had assumed that I had already paid for the entire bill as I returned when expected. Finally, I was annoyed beyond dealing with them and asked them to just bring me my dog I was tired of waiting. I paid the extra waited again for them to go and get my dog. Only, to have her bring him out and realize that if theyd given him a bath they did a terrible job. I just left and got in my car only to discover that they had not clipped his nails and he definitely wasnt bathed. So when I got home I called to complain about his condition and was told that when they put him back in his cage he actually peed on himself. This isnt something he ever does and if theyd been taking him out to go potty and giving him the "extra tlc" that I had paid for that shouldnt have happened. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. And will never again take mine to them again. Totally displeased.

I had been a patience for several years the Dr. was always helpful and answered all of my questions when one of my fuzzes were sick, we were happy with their service. My disappointment came when I questioned a procedure they did, disagreeing on the quality of the work. Indignant and offended the Doctor jumped at the opportunity to discard me as a patience. I had already been a little uptight with them because of a previous event that soured me on the policies of the office. They reluctantly advanced us credit for one - two day on an emergency visit. I had a critically ill dog with a mystery illness the Doctor could not diagnose and had to take him to a Portland Doctor. All that emotional and financial crisis was troubling, That point forward we were treated like we had the plague. I had to prepay for all procedures up front... they even made me come back to the office to pay in-cash a nominal amount that was shorted upon the first calculation. I understand their position, the economy has effected us all. I just think their ridged policies were poorly executed, and the over defensive Doctor cinched up the bad experience resulting in a severed relationship.

Best customer service! I started going to this clinic mostly because they were the closest to where I live and it was just to pick up flea meds every few months. I have two cats, one which has been seen at Orchard View and the service is always exceptional. I have called them with random questions or asking for advice numerous times and all of the staff is consistently courteous and makes the extra effort to find answers to my questions. They really make me feel like I can trust them with my pets. My reason for giving four out of five stars instead of five, is solely due to price. Based on what I have noticed other clinics charging, Orchard View tends to be a bit on the high end. I cant always afford that and have unfortunately had to try a couple of other places during dire times of need. If I had the money Orchard View would be my first choice, and I believe that you get what you pay for there. Higher level of service for slightly higher rates. I think that is totally acceptable and they are doing a great job. Thank you to all the staff!

We have had nothing but positive experiences with the Orchard View team! We recently brought in our older cat whose health had rapidly declined, and they gently walked me through all of my options for caring for her, including putting her down. They provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision, and they were realistic in regards to her chances for survival. They provide my husband and I plenty of space and time with our cat once we had chosen to put her down, and ensured that we dictated when we were ready for each next step. Every member of the team we encountered that day was sympathetic and understanding. The entire office even sent us a condolence card a few days later! Our routine visits are also fantastic! Our dog is a HUGE scardey-dog when it comes to visiting the vet, and they are so sweet with her (and bribe her with treats - her favorite part). I greatly appreciate the knowledgable staff and excellent care they provide our animals!

I have been taking my pets to Orchard View since 2010. Our chocolate lab LOVES going to the vet, and he is definitely a favorite there! The staff is helpful, caring, and kind. When I had to put one of my kitties to sleep, the staff were patient while I said goodbye, and waited for me to be ready for each step. I love that they have a well-budget program, so I can easily afford routine procedures and visits. They are also very flexible in case something happens to my lab (which happens more than Id like!), and I need to bring him in suddenly. I can drop him off, and theyll look at him when they have a free moment. I also trust them for my boarding needs. Both veterinarians on staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and great with both the pets and their humans. They focus on whats best for the pets, which is really what you want in a veterinary center!

We brought our cat in a few months back. They were running some tests and told us they would call with results. Two weeks later I called them. "Oops! Not sure how we overlooked your chart!" Okay. It happens. Brought our beagle in since he was acting and looking sick. Did some tests, the results came back and we had to euthanize him. Awesome experience. (Minus losing our baby.) Talked my brother into switching his dog over and brought our other beagle in. The substitute vet couldnt even keep them straight and we still have no idea who had what issues for the most part. They wanted to run additional testing on the beagle. Hubby ran over to their office and paid for additional test. TWO WEEKS AGO. Still no word. This is frustrating. Ive called twice today and no answer. I want a refund so I can take her somewhere else to receive care.

Not a terrible vet but they were very pushy and very expensive. The initial appointment was reasonably priced but they quoted me over $600 for getting my kitten neutered (testicles are not descended which is more of an invasive surgery but should not cost that much) they seemed very knowledgeable. The veterinarian was pushy as she insisted on giving our kitten his initial shots even though the breeder had already done this. To be fair the initial shots were included in the price of the visit but it seems ridiculous to do something that had already been done and felt like it was a bait to spend more money eventually. To be fair they may be great veterinarians but I just cant justify the money and dont like feeling pushed to do things!
