Im Surprised at all these 5 star reviews.... I am a REAL Person and i do NOT Work for this Vet!. TRUE STORY... took my cat in yesterday his name was "chuey" and hge was in so much pain struggling to breath and REMIND YOU THIS IS A VENTNARIAN HOSPITAL... I walk in and the receptionist is attendend another client I Wont say patient cause thats not how your treated there...Anyways I am Calmly waiting while my Chuey is Crying really bad....The receptionst is not even done with the person she was attending and looks over her and says..." DID You make an appointment? I answered No Maam.I thought this was a Hospital for pets she said it was.. but there are NO VETS at this time and if want to leave your cat here its gonna be $300 and after the Dr sees him who knows how it would be More than $600 she said possibly,,, BEFORE i could say ok lets do something... she answers BUT I CAN REFER YOU TO FRESNO!!!! MY CAT WOULDNT HAVE MADE IT TO FRESNO.....the lady she was helpin sat with my "chuey and prayed for him...I appreciate her so much because my "Chuey" ended up dying a short time later... I Believe people who work for pet clinics or vets or shelters should have a little more compassion towards these living creatures! ITS NOT JUST ABOUT THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

For the last forty years my husband and I have been owners of pets that some would say we love way to much. In that time we have had veterinarians caring for our cats/dogs from Madera county to Northern California to Alaska and back. I have never felt so safe and secure in the care that my aminals have received as I do with Madera Animal Hospital. The support staff is warm and welcoming, and then you meet the vets. They listen to you carefully, do a thorough examination, then explain what they think is going on with your beloved pet. Just today I learned something that I had never known from other vets about why my dog had hot spots on his tail (and two of my dogs have been treated for this previously with other vets). They treat us like the intelligent human beings that we are and explain things in laymen terms so we can understand future symptoms should they arise in this particular animal or any other. Their demeanor is incredibly gentle, kind and welcoming. And as I said, I feel my pets are in safe and knowledgeable hands. Do not hesitate to visit them in either their Madera Clinic or their new Chowchilla Clinic on Ventura Avenue. Bowman and Sharon Looney Chowchilla, California

I have never been one to take my dogs to the vet but since Ive bought a home and have neighbor kids that like to play with my dogs. I felt responsible if something were to happen to those kids without my dogs having the proper vaccinations. So I called a couple of places and right away Madera Animal Hospital was able to help me out and be very flexible with my schedule. The process was very easy and they arent after your money. The doctor is very thorough with all my pets and its not a quick check up. After getting my dogs all of their vaccinations and getting them fixed, I can honestly say that I will not be going to another veterinarian other than this one. Couldnt be happier! Quality service for a fair price. Champ, Bailey, and Bruce are part of my family and I trust Madera Animal Hospital in what theyre doing.

Dont come here if you want to find a vet that cares more about your animal than money. I called to set up appt. To see if my dog had a foxtail in its ear i explained there he had an ear infection and she reassured me that they would be able to see the foxtail. When i arrived the vet looked in his ear and said he couldnt see anything because of the infection!! It took two seconds for him to tell me that but they still charged me for the office visit this place is just money hungry and doesnt care about the animals at all. This isnt the first time i have felt my dog was given inadequate care or consideration. I will never be going there again and advising my friends and community to go to a more respectable vet.

I have trusted the care of my pets to Madera Animal Hospital for more than 25 years. While the staff may have changed over the years the great care, concern and compassion my pets have received over the years has not. Whether it was a beloved pet or another stray I have found, I have always been able to be seen within hours of my call for help. The staff and doctors are great. They explain treatment options, (no surprises)and most importantly are compassionate with my pets. As an animal lover Im very happy to have Madera Animal Hospital helping me keep my pets healthy.

My little dog was attacked and severely injured by another dog. I had never been to the Madera Animal Hospital before but they were open on a Saturday, and could get me in, so I took Minnie. They were great! They were honest about her chances and were reasonable in their prices. They were understanding as well and they also told me my options. So I let them treat her. She survived and is doing almost as well as before the attack, now that it is months later. We could not be happier to have our little doggie almost as good as new. I highly recommend them.

Love Dr. D & Dr. K @ Madera animal hospital are Excellent . They truly Care about Your Pet & You !! They are Not looking to take all your money. They offer the best Care with the most affordable ways to treat your pet. I feel blessed to have them caring for the many pets we have rescued. Matt is their newest addition to the team. I believe that the staff at Madera Animal Hospital are friendly and do a great job. The vets. take time to listen to me and examine our pets carefully. They explain what is going on with the animal, give us treatment options, and let us decide how much money we want to spend that day. I like Madera Animal Hospital and would recommend it to a friend.

The Madera Animal Hospital is an excellent hospital. The veterinarians are great and provide professional care. The two doctors have treated my two boxer dogs with knowledge and compassion. The staff is also wonderful and provides excellent service. I would recommend this hospital for small and large animals.

I loved the receptionists there. They always make you feel welcome. They accepted a coupon i had for a first time visit. My cat swallowed a foxtail they gave her antibiotics and she has since stopped gagging which is awsome!! It must have passed... :) i will be returning when i can pay for her shots soon.

The doctor was very compassionate about my dog. He genuinely cares. The staff forgot something on the estimate that the doctor recommended. Also they forgot something at the time of check out. But they took care of those items after I reminded them.
