This practice is not for me. I am in pretty good health and want to stay that way. I have seen 2 doctors so far and was disappointed. Not professionals. One nurse could not even take my blood pressure correctly. I asked a doctor for a prescription and it took a week for him to tell me I needed an office visit. Pathetic. Another one just argued in circles until I gave up and left. They ask the same stupid questions every time, like "... is someone bothering you?" I would not want to depend on HFFM for anything serious. Keep looking elsewhere. Really a shame because there are some nice staff that work there.

I had a stroke in 2013, and moved back to the area in 2016. As expected, I need comprehensive follow-up care. With Harpers Ferry Family Medicine, I have received only the most cursory of care. I can not recall having seen the same internist twice since my return, and have been informed by the last internist that I saw that they are not set up that way, and was advised to seek treatment elsewhere, in order to see someone who could gain a familiarity with my case- instead of every visit staring from scratch, like an initial visit with a new internist.

Both my mom and myself have had an awful experience with this practice. Disorganized, they can take weeks to call you back. I went for Dr. Lewis and have been passed off to other doctors ever since. Hold times stretch into the half hour range and Ive sat, waiting for a doctor in the room for an hour past my appointment time. If you value your time and health, find a better place.

If youre going here to get bloodwork, SAVE YOUR TIME. They have ONE person behind the check in desk where theres a sign saying it takes AT LEAST 25 minutes to check a patient in. Like that makes any sense, go figure.
