I have taken all of my dogs to Doc Martin (EL Animal Hospital) since 1988 and wouldnt go anywhere else. Everyone there is wonderful, in fact some of the people who are there have been there since I started going - that tells you something about the kind of office it is. I love that there is the continuity of the office staff and vet techs as well as Doc martin, it is like a family. Doc Martin loves my dogs like they are his own. I appreciate and respect all the value in his years of experience and knowledge. Sometimes common sense and a good exam outweigh all the new technology! My 14 year old golden was recently sent to Tufts in an emergency when he was off; Tufts had her for 3 days and found a blood clot, and suspected cancer, but missed basic things you would see on a physical exam, like a raging yeast infection! I believe Tufts essentially wrote her off. I brought her back to Doc Martin and he is treating the yeast infection, and ancillary things they ignored, and he had a local specialist see her (he isnt afraid to get a consult when needed) and the specialist diagnosed things that had been missed at Tufts. I realize he cant cure her, but he is treating her to make her quality of life as good as it can be for as long as she is here. I call that a great vet! I am grateful he is there to care for my pups.

This place is great. Friendly, caring nursing staff, and the DVM I met with was outstanding. Very personable, took a lot of time with us, and answered all ou questions. Highly recommend!

Our animals will never come here again. Unfriendly staff and incompetent care. Our cat is dead due to the lazy negligent "care" she recieved here.
