Dr. Haroush first came to my attention six years ago when I heard about the many life and limb saving operations he performs at the Animal Health Center in order to help defray costs at the local SPCA when they have challenging surgeries. I was curious to learn more about this well-known surgeon respected for his compassionate heart and medical skills. So I stopped in to the Animal Health Center, and met the good doctor himself. Thereafter, I began bringing my pet cat to the Animal Health Center during its non-emergency hours for wellness exams, dental procedures, noninvasive ultrasound exams, and vaccines (including the non-adjuvanted vaccines that Dr. Haroush can provide). I’ve come to trust Dr. Haroush as a very talented and unusual individual; quite passionate about his profession; not afraid to take on challenging cases; and eager to invest in the finest, state-of-the art medical equipment that will help his patients. I continue to see an ever-expanding variety of non-invasive, high tech diagnostic systems at the Animal Health Center, including for example, a new, low-energy shock wave therapy system for orthopedic treatments and more. The Animal Health Center is the only veterinary practice in Westchester County to have such a system, and the only private, veterinarian owned 24/7 animal hospital in Westchester County. Beyond the sophisticated medical systems he is continually adding to the Animal Health Center, Dr. Haroush’s greatest asset is his sincere compassion for helping all types of companion animals. For example, the 2009 Westchester Cat Show Board of Directors honored “the extraordinary efforts of this wonderful veterinarian who saved the life of a four-week-old kitten who had been hit by a car and severely injured.” The Animal Health Center provides both 24/7 emergency medical services and non-emergency medical services for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small exotics, including rabbits, ferrets, and guinea pigs. Because our pet was born with a heart problem, my wife and I experienced several different emergencies involving our beloved pet in severe distress. Dr. Haroush unfailingly rushed to our pet’s aid time and time again, at all hours of the day and night. My wife and I have never been disappointed by Dr. Haroush’s efforts to do all that is medically possible. In addition to 24/7 emergency services, the non-emergency services that our pet has benefited from at the Animal Health Center include digital X-rays for dental, full body, standing, and in-surgery needs. The bars for both emergency 24/7 and non-emergency veterinary care are set at very high levels in Westchester County. Dr. Haroush and his staff clear both bars with flying colors. The Animal Health Center is a veterinary practice second to none. It is well-organized and staffed by personnel that are truly caring and enthusiastic. Very importantly, they continually monitor all pets that are in their care.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DONT EVER BRING YOUR PET TO DR. HAROUSH OF VETERINARY VILLAGE, BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY Please dont bring your pet here if you love them. Dr. Haroush is a greedy man who is willing to do anything for his own personal gain; because of him my puppy might have chronic pain in her paws for the rest of her life. We left a happy, jovial, and kind puppy at his boarding house. When we picked her up after a number of days my puppy was :- Limping, Multiple ticks, Lethargic, Aggressive, and was refusing to eat anything. On top of that she nearly bit a family member (keep in mind she has NEVER shown aggressive behavior towards a family member prior to this). When confronted with issues. We were informed that dog is fine. It is in our mind. There is no limp or eye issues. We did not feel comfortable. WE WENT FOR A SECOND OPINION. We rushed my dog to KATONAHS Emergency Vet. They diagnosed MY DOG with PINK EYE and found that LIMPING was because of pain due to a possible HIP INJURY and pain in the FRONT PAW. - We immediately went to Dr. Haroush and he said that there was no need to worry. He told us to not use the ointment, multiple painkillers, or the food the other vets had provided. We followed most of his instructions (we were still giving her the eye ointment and food). - However, her condition only worsened. We went to see him again and instead of worrying about our dog, his primary concern was to make sure we sign the paper saying we would pay for all his "services" and medicine. PLEASE READ THIS OVER AND OVER. This time he said that she did have a little pink eye and when we asked him why he didnt say this the first time; he said "at least she isnt limping anymore and you dont have to worry about any major hip injury ". - In addition, he refused to sent my dogs records to her new vet. You will have to physically get them from his office. Later on, we found that there was a large cut on her paw. Today we learned that her left paw might have been broken and she might suffer from arthritis at the age of two because of failure to take care of her paw. We still dont know what happened to her when left her in the care of Dr. Haroush and his team.If you love your pet, please dont take them here. Their primary concern is not the well being of your pet but the well beings of their pockets.

I am so grateful that I found Dr. Haroush at The Animal Health Center. For a couple of years my 11 year old dog was getting more lethargic and would have random moments of pain and I was always told it was most likely due to his old age. Of course a person knows there own pet and deep down I knew something wasnt right... So, I searched online and I found The Animal Health center and they were very accomadating and got me in as a new client very quickly. Within 5 minutes of examining my dog he found a major issue that has been overlooked by so many others. It was his teeth and gums that were badly infected and rotting away! Since my dog has a small head and smushed face like a pug I never realized it and it never even crossed my head that dogs could have such issues with teeth! Dr. Haroush and his staff was so compassionate and performed the surgery right away. In just the way they handled my pet I could tell that they treat and care for each of these animals just as if they were their own pets. Now its been a few weeks later, and I see such a dramatic improvement in his behavior! He acts as if he was a puppy again and runs around and plays. Now Dr. Haroush is the permenent vet for my dog and Im truly comforted knowing my beloved pet is in such great hands. Another benefit is the fact that theyre open 24/7 and are fully equipped to handle any emergency situation. I would highly recommend people to take their pets to The Animal Health Center, I just wish I found them sooner!

WARNING: Stay away from Animal Health Center at 438 North State Road in Briarcliff Manor, NY and its owner Yossi Haroush! Last night two of my friends shared horrified stories involving their pets under the care of so called "dr" haroush animal health center... !!! If I only knew they were thinking of bringing their pets to him I will scream for them to STAY AWAY from haroush !!! I should have warned public several years ago when I and my kitten were taken for fools by haroush ... He run several tests, gave all possible diagnosis from bacterial, fungal, viral, parasites, etc JUST to sell me all his extremely expensive medicine ranging from creams, shampoos to pills and power that were supposed to heal my cat... Instead of making her feel better, he was slowly killing her ...After two days, I took her for a follow up visit (since her symptoms were only getting worst), and the so called "doctor" haroush advised me of my other treatment option ... simply putting her to sleep (killing her!).. his comforting words were: "at least your kids did not have enough time to get used to her" .... He made me SICK then, and I see that he continues to make other pets and their owner even more sicker now... Shame on YOU haroush !!!! Today, my cat is healthy and alive thanks to Central Animal Hospital in Scarsdale :) Please, save your pet and your WALLET and STAY AWAY from Animal Health Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY!!
