Our recent experience and continued visit at the new Metro Optics turned out to be quite amazing. My wife and I came in to get her an eye exam and possible a new prescription with both frames and contact lenses. I myself sit in front of a computer for 20+ hours a day but never had glasses so I figured I would get an exam as well. From the very first visit to this location the customer service, selection of frames and overall experience was amazing! My wife and I were in the store for almost 5 hours (my wife could not make up her mind on which frames she wanted) and at no point in time did the representative within the store make us feel rushed or annoyed in taking so long. Also the fitting fee for her contacts was honestly more than a reasonable charge considering what is included with it and how long it took for my wife to actually get her contact lenses in her eyes, it even included follow visits so I have no complaints regarding that. Also after my exam I didnt know I need glasses until I put on my new prescription and the difference was like night and day (primarily for reading and being in front of the computer). This store is outside of our normal vision coverage and honestly I have no problem going there again. A+ in my book.

My wife, my daughter and I came to this location and instantly greeted by Donna. To be honest and having already experienced lens crafters , I was quite skeptical and told myself I will only look. Well well to my surprise. Donna literally took us by the hand and guided us in getting not only the best frame, but allowing us to make our own decision working within our own budget. Her deminer, and knowledge made our buying experience enjoyable and funny, on top of going above and beyond our expectations. We were there two hours and never gelt rushed or abandoned. Picking up my new specs today after recieving a call from a friendly voice telling me my glasses are ready. We were just there the day before! AMAZING! Step asside lens crafters, there is something to be learned here at Metro Optics at 815 Hutchinson Ave. Donna was our guide but all seemed very friendly,knowledgeable and patient.

I have been a patient of Metro Optics at the Westchester Sq location for many, many years. I have ALWAYS been very pleased with the quality of the eye exam, the quality of the glasses I have had made and the generous amount of attention from everyone who works there. I have always been given an honest education in picking frames and lenses. The time and patience given by the employees is unending. Every pair of glasses are great and the progressive lenses are always made properly with hardly any adjustment time. This time around I visited the Throgs Neck Office and it is magnificent. It is roomy and there is ample parking. There are so many frames to pick from I could of spent the day. I had three pairs of glasses made and they were ready in no time. Thank you to Aurora and her staff. The place is great and will always have my loyalty.

My first visit to this place two years ago was not a good one. after two years of not returning, I figure I give them another try. I am very glad I gave Metro optics a second chance. I have come to learn that my first experience with this place was not a bad one but a misunderstanding of my insurance on my part. They have a very clean, professional atmosphere and it is a family oriented place. Metro optics is very good at keeping their appointment, they do not make you wait for hours. The manager Aurora is very dedicated to her business, she is constantly on the floor making sure customers are happy with their experience and has no problem helping you and addressing any problems or concerns you may have. The staff is also very attentive and respectful not pressuring you to buy or pushing you out the door. Great experience!

This place is absolutely amazing. Ive been to my fair share of eye doctors and this was hands down the most personal, professional and simply amazing service Ive ever received. The staff is friendly, they knew that I had broken my glasses and failed at trying to fix them. They made room for me last minute on the day I broke my glasses, the next day I got a call telling me they were ready for pick up. Couldnt rave more about them.
