I cant say much about their eye exams or examination rooms, but their front desk staff is great. I went in to buy a pair of contacts lenses, and, despite never having been there, they treated me very friendly and went out of their way to treat me kindly. They instructed me on how to put in the contact lenses and had answers for all of my questions. My only complaint was that they person that was sent to the back to retrieve the contacts took a little long to get back, but he made up for it by instructing me on how to insert the contact. All together Id give it 4 out of 5 stars for their front desk service.

I am a long time contact lens wearer and my contact lens went down the drain. After looking for an optical I came across General Vision. They were the only ones that were open over the holiday weekend. I went in desperate for contact lenses as that was my last pair. The doctor was available. No appt necessary and the exam was sooooo much cheaper than I would of paid in the city. Overall I am satisfied was able to get my exam a pair of contact lenses and was able to see again.. I will be going back next year and will definately recommend them!!!!

I always have a problem ordering contacts. They can never find my name. They can never find my "box" in the back. Then the girls up front, have there attitudes, like its my fault. The examination rooms are a 1,2,3 thing, no in debt explanation as to what they are doing or any how to insert contacts or if glasses are a better option. They just tell you your prescription, give you option contact or glasses or thats it. your on way. Not very friendly.

Bad customer service. I called to order contacts and was put on hold for 15 minutes. After having to spell my name out twice, the woman found my prescription, but was laughing in the background at my frustration. Was told that my contacts would arrive in 3 business days. Its been about a week and a half. after calling twice, my contacts have still not arrived. Id recommend getting your prescription and ordering online.

General Vision was an excellent optical before but know there customer service is very unprofessional. I ordered my contact lens and over a week ago and I called to know if they were sent out and I was told that they didnt even had been sent out yet. Talk about BAD customer service!!!
