Dr. Julie and her staff are fantastic. They all genuinely care about their patients. I could not be more pleased with the care and treatment they have provided. I’ve visited many chiropractors over the years, and my experiences have largely been the same. They listen to what you have to say during your first couple of visits, and then it becomes a routine. They cram as many patients into their schedule as possible and make you sit in their waiting room for ridiculously long times. When it’s finally your turn, the “routine” is over before you know it. It’s a different world at Disc Doctor. Dr. Julie assesses my condition and my progress at every visit. She doesn’t just put me on the table, crack my back, and send me on my way. There is a great deal of individualized attention given to all patients. I also like the fact that I have never needed to wait more than a couple minutes for my treatment. If my appointment is at 5 p.m., Dr. Julie or a member of her staff is ready to start my treatment at 5 p.m. I’ve never encountered this at any other type of medical appointment. I’ve read a fair amount on the topic of “spinal decompression” over the past couple years. When my lower back began acting up again this past summer, I decided to try it. There is no magic pill, but I noticed a difference after my first visit. After following Dr. Julie’s recommended treatment plan and various recommended stretching exercises, I feel remarkably better. I know some people are concerned or simply afraid of visiting a chiropractor. Dr. Julie takes a different approach to chiropractic care. Each of my visits involved decompression, gentle traction, and an adjustment. The adjustment part is what seems to get people nervous. For such people, Dr. Julie takes a gentler approach to adjustments through the use of something called the Pro-Adjuster. There is no twisting, pulling, yanking, and cracking involved. However, I’m a big guy and I don’t mind the twisting and cracking, and Dr. Julie is more than capable of traditional chiropractic treatment. For what it’s worth, I live in the suburbs and wasn’t sure I wanted to head into South Buffalo for chiropractic care. I thought parking was going to be a headache. However, it has not been an issue. Whether my appointment was in the morning, afternoon, or late afternoon, there has been plenty of parking available on Abbott or right around the corner on Melrose Street. If you have neck or back pain, try Disc Doctor. I think you’ll be very pleased!

My name is Bri, I work as a chiropractic assistant at Disc Doctor. First off let me say, BEST JOB EVER. Every single one of my colleagues has a huge heart and a passion for what we do. You will never see any of us without a smile on our face. Our goal every day is to help you, heal you, and make sure that youre smiling too. Ive never had a more positive and hospitable experience than I do every single day when I go to work. Plus, not only are we fun to hangout with, but we can actually help you too. I have seen dozens of patients come in and barely be able to walk because they are experiencing so much pain. After a few visits with us, getting adjusted and going through our cutting edge therapies for pain management, their pain is almost gone and they feel SO much better. Myself personally, I get adjusted and go through therapies on a regular basis. Before I started working for Disc Doctor a little over 4 months ago, I was in pain everyday. Ive had a lot of injuries and had constant pain in way too many areas on my body. It took maybe a month to be completely pain free, my scoliosis is monitored and improving, and I just ALWAYS feel great now! If you are in pain and want to get out if it without surgery or emptying your bank account, call Disc Doctor. You will not regret it, I promise.

I have been described as as a renaissance man. This simply means that one strives to be balanced between his physical, spiritual philosophical, and intellectual pursuits. I first contacted the Disc Doctor because I was becoming quite impaired physically. I have always had pursuits in football and strength training and it was becoming difficult for me to play soccer or run with with my children. I was also noticing cloudiness of mind and a disconnect between my self and my body. What is very surprising about Dr. Lacey and the Disc Doctor staff is that they are not only interested in your physical well being and goals but take an interest concerning your spiritual, philosophical, and intellectual goals as well. With the help of Dr. Lacey and the Disc Doctor staff I have left being cynical about my physical future and have began to prepare to compete in a USAPL sanctioned power lifting match. Yes, I am that confident in what Dr. Lacey is accomplishing with my back that has been diagnosed with stage two degeneration. Hope is a powerful medicine and Dr. Lacey and the Disc Doctor staff have helped return me to a more hopeful future. Tim Heath

Ive been having back issues on and off for several years. Dr. Will took a thorough history and did a full assessment to figure out what was wrong and how to move forward. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on so I could understand it and detailed out his plan of action. He went above and beyond by helping me understand how I can be healthy moving forward and how I can prevent back pain in the future. I am so appreciative of the attentiveness he gave to my issue and helping to educate me on what was going on. Ive never gotten as thorough of an explanation as I got from him. I thoroughly believe he is invested in helping me get better and to ensure that I will be pain free going forward. Though Im still in the process of getting to 100%, I feel relief I havent felt in years. Dr. Will and Kat are both welcoming, knowledgeable and warm! Id recommend Disc Doctor and Dr. Will to anyone! Thanks for helping me!

I met Dr. Will at the Shamrock run last March and was very impressed after speaking with him after just a few minutes. I have been suffering from Sciatica off and on for the most of my adult life and most recently since last November. My previous Chiropractor wasnt helping much so I decided to give Dr. Will a try. After one visit most of the pain was gone and things started to feel normal again. I was also impressed when Dr Will called me the evening after my first appointment to see how I was doing. I also need to mention Kat, the office manager, who also provides you with a warm welcome and ensures that you are comfortable and your wait time is minimal. This practice takes the time and effort to provide their patients with the personal care everyone enjoys and I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing back and nerve problems. They do all the right things to make you feel that you are their only patient.

I had never been to a chirpractor until I sprained my neck two weeks ago. I went from having intense pain that radiated down my back and arm from my neck to almost being pain free in less than a week! Dr. Julie is awesome. She really listens to her patients and comes up with the best course of action. Everyone is very friendly and they have a lot of technology that old school chiropractors dont seem to have (and is proven to be really effective in recovery). Cute decor and the place is very comfortable. They work with your insurance and had a promo deal when I went in. I was really happy and relieved with my bill! I would highly recommend this place.
