I have been a client of the Clifton Park Animal Care hospital for about 10 years. Over those years I have had 2 cats and 3 dogs that have all been treated by the veterinarians at this hospital and when needed helped me with their passing. The service my pets and I have received is/was impeccable. The doctors are compassionate, patient and non-judgmental. The staff is always courteous, friendly, and professional. I now have 2 dogs (mini pins) that I rescued. I have 2 dogs because I was told that they could not be separated. The opposite turned out to be more the case and fighting between the 2 dogs became a nightmare that was uncontrollable. The doctors and staff at the Clifton Park Animal Care Hospital are always there for me and my dogs no matter when the fights occur. There were times I called at 6 pm just as they were winding down their day. No worry, they told me to come in right then. This happened more than once. I cannot think of where I would be without them. They also have a boarding service that I take advantage of when traveling. My dogs love it. They are calm when I pick them up at the end of their stay. They get a report card of how well they did during the stay and both of them love the staff that deals with them in the boarding section. Recently this animal hospital has put in an emergency system where you can call in for help at any time of day or night. The call goes to an on-call veterinarian who then deals with the situation. I highly, highly recommend this Animal Care Hospital. 5 stars and more if I could give it more.

My wife and I brought our two pugs (pictured here with Santa this year) to Animal Care Hospital for the first time last week. We had a pretty horrible experience with the last and only hospital we were ever a part of, and were looking for a place that truly cares about the animal / owner relationship. The intake CSRs were EXCELLENT and so welcoming to all of us. Kayla and Lindsey (forgive me if I dont have your names exactly right) welcomed our pugs and made them feel like they had been there a million times. We certainly did not feel like just any other client walking in the door. They answered all of our questions both before and after our appointment, and we even left with a goody bag :) Dr. Skeffington. Well what can you say? We were clients of hers at our prior hospital and were so excited to see her again. She knows our pugs so well and their history which is so important. She also understands and cares about our relationship with them and how much we love them. She is a wonderful, caring and super talented vet and anyone would be lucky to have her take care of their pets. In summation, I would recommend Animal Care Hospital to all Pet owners looking for a hospital that truly cares about your animals and a staff that you would feel comfortable leaving them with. They are all truly great there, and it was a great experience.

Dr. Skeffington has been our veterinarian now for over 10 years and has seen us through both regular medical care and emergencies including help with a highly needy Maltese who had a myriad of health issues that were greatly lessened because of her expertise and attention to detail. She was able to put my mind at ease when my terrier had a weird allergic reaction and calmly offered suggestions that immediately made my dog more comfortable. She is not only a PHENOMENALLY knowledgeable doctor, able to answer any question (even poorly described ailments), provide diagnostics with expertise and ease, but is a generally amazing human and constantly amazes me with her patience and amazing level of service. I always leave my conversations with her knowing she did everything in her power to treat my dog(s) and that everything she did is in their best interest. She treats every pet with as much care and kindness as if they were her own. Her professionalism and levelheadedness are unmatched, and for the rest of her tenure as a doctor of veterinarian medicine I will never look for another. 5 stars really isnt enough for all you do for us! Thank you for your dedication, knowledge and endless patience, our family, both two legs and four adore you Dr. Skeffington!!

We have been bringing our dog to Animal Care Hospital for 4 years and have always loved the staff, doctors, and care our dog has received. We recently adopted a second pup...Not 30 minutes after her being home, her incision from her recent spay opened all the way up. My first thought was to call the shelter we got her from, but they were closed(of course!) so I called animal care hospital. Even though they had never seen this pup before, they told us to come right over. Dr. Skeffington saw her right away and determined my poor girl would have to go back into surgery. Dr Skeffington worked with us on price especially being that we just paid a not so small fee to adopt the puppy, and we were definitely thrown for a loop with this surgery! The Dr. And staff were so nice and sweet towards my dog and myself as well as very understanding. Ive been to a few different Vets over the years and the small close knit "family" feel of Animal Care Hospital as well as their amazing staff is the reason I wont go anywhere else. Thank you Animal Care Hospital for continued amazing care and compassion for our pets!!

We have used the services of Animal Care Hospital (ACH) for approximately 30 years. We have always received professional and supportive care for our cats, and us, during these visits. ACH doctors and staff support, understanding and cooperation during the two (2) times that we had to euthanize our elderly and very ill cats made very painful experiences more tolerable. Both times, we were able to work with the doctors to make an end of life plan for our cats. We have also had need to utilize ACH surgical services for several cats. As a former Operating Room and Recovery Room nurse, I was very happy with the surgical events and post operative care our cats received, as well as the post operative at home plans of care that we received, so that we knew the appropriate care that we needed to provide to continue to assist our cats successful healing. Telephone calls are always timely returned and appointments are made with ease. The respect and support that the vets and staff have always shown our animals and us is why we repeatedly return to ACH.

I have brought my middle-aged cat to the Animal Care Hospital four times for basic check ups. My cat is generally nervous around strangers and, of course, wasnt thrilled about a car ride. I was impressed that the staff (Im sorry, I have a bad memory for names) was able to calm her so quickly. They petted her, spoke to her, and did the entire exam and vaccination updates without the cat even seeming to be aware of it. The best and most impressive thing, though, was they clipped all ten claws without even a token struggle. Well worth the few extra dollars. The wait time, if any, is very short. If you have a nervous pet, you are put in a room immediately. The prices seem very reasonable to me although I havent really done a comparison. The staff is friendly and efficient, and like most good veterinarian clinics, tend to remember the pets names instead of the owners :) I have no hesitation in recommending this clinic.
