Phenomenal with kids!! Our 6-year-old son had a terrible fear of dentists... Then we discovered that he had a cavity. We needed to take him somewhere to get it fixed, and we braced ourself for a bad experience. We heard that Dr. Rose Teachout was great with kids, so we made the appointment. I stayed with my son through the whole procedure, and saw Dr. Rose work her magic. Ive NEVER SEEN anyone better at making a kid feel at ease and comfortable, and completely defusing a potentially fearful experience. It was over before he knew it, and he never cried a single tear. I was stunned afterward when he told me he couldnt wait to go back to the dentist. I dont know who was more relieved, my son or I! One more note... On another occasion Dr. Rose was examining the teeth of another of our kids, and we asked her opinion on something minor that my wife and I thought was unusual about his teeth. Dr. Rose immediately asked if my wife had suffered from a high fever midway through pregnancy with our son, and she had! The dentist assured us it was not a major problem. So she instantly both diagnosed the issue and cured our anxiety! I was amazed. I highly recommend Dr. Rose and Dansville Family Dental!

They were really disrespectful and rude. I have 5 kids and my children do not watch TV so they played with the toys there and made loud truck and car sounds a lot and we ended being kicked out because of my sons noise making. They were not fighting or wrestling or screaming, they were just acting like trucks and cars. If you have a child that are similar to mine, a special needs child or more then one child please expect to be kicked out. Why call yourselves a Family Dental if you cannot handle noise from a child for about 15 minutes on and off? Stay away. I was there 15 minutes early and gave them my paper work and they could not get my dental information or insurance company on the phone because it was Delta Dental from California. Before they make an appointment or schedule you they should have all their ducks in a row and know what they are doing. I was waiting for a half an hour before my family was kicked out. If we were seen at the time they scheduled us my children would have been fine. I would not even rate this a one star.

Just got done my treatments (root canal and cleaning) with Dr. Teachout. I’ve gone to others dentist before, but never had a good experience with dentist. I wish I had found her sooner!! She is secure and makes you feel comfortable. She is just AWESOME. She explained everything really thoroughly, and walked me through the various pictures and x-rays so I understood everything. Above the excellent dental care, all the other girls were very professional and friendly. They were so nice and welcoming and upbeat; the kind of people you want to interact when you are at a dental office. The office is very clean, and their tools and technology seemed to be the latest. What I liked the most was the TV they had in all rooms. I definitely recommend Dr. Teachout practice. What a great dentist!

After spending years afraid of the dentist, I now go regularly to see Dr. Rose! Her staff are sweet, reassuring, patient and professional! My 4 year old daughter also LOVES to see Dr. Rose to have her "count her teeth" and had been going since a year and half old. The office is beautiful, comfy and so up to date it hardly feels like the dentist anymore!

Due to bad dental experiences as a child, I had a real phobia about dentists. Dr. Teachout was recommended when I had a problem with a tooth. She and her staff go me through my first visit with real care and compassion. I have been with them since and can get though my visits without all the anxiety I used to experience. Cant thank them enough!

Very professional and good experience. Ive never liked going to the dentist, in fact I cant think of anyone that does. But..... these people are great and always do a wonderful job. Makes visiting the dentist not so bad. I would recommend without a problem, and already have to my friends and family.

Dansville Family Dental has been outstanding for our family. All the staff have compassion for each individual. From the receptionist, hygentists and Dr. Teachout. And we are always informed on current events with the best news; the only fair and balanced network - Fox News.
