The worst hospital Ive ever been to in my life, nurses checked up on you every 4-6 hours. Doctor and nurses said they are going to do something and never showed up to do it, left me hanging until I was forced to walk up to the front desk and still didnt get anyone to come or a direct answer. Got into a motorcycle accident and I had several cuts from road rash and in extreme pain. Gave me Tylenol and refused to up the dosage. Doctor didnt even tell me his name, didnt recommend any anti biotics for me now all my cuts are infected. Didnt even give me any at the hospital, no creams, nothing, didnt wash the blood dripping from my face left me there the same way I came in. Made me stay overnight and all they did was give me a green egg that exploded when I touched it and Tylenol, there was no reason to go to the hospital at all everything they did I could have easily done at home. Worst service Ive EVER received at a hospital. Recommend no one EVER goes there for anything, extremely pissed at the way they treated me, not to mention their attitudes. Took 3 nurses to get the bed to work(for it to move up and down) and they couldnt even get it, I did it myself after them leaving the room for 45minutes saying they "were going to find help", wrapped 1 out of 10 extreme cuts, not to mention it was the one that hurt the least. Put 2 of the same bracelets (had patient name)on me that were hitting into my gashes and the nurse had a huge attitude when I asked him to cut one off and didnt have an answer to why I had 2 on. Had useless material on me, such as the finger reader with a wire that would wrap around me when I tried to get the little comfort out of the situation, it was attached to absolutely nothing, and when I asked him to take that off as well he got all huffy and puffy and took it off and threw it against the wall and said "is that it?" With an extreme attitude, I am very very unhappy with there services. Ive never written a review in my life no matter how bad a place has pissed me off, but this was just absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself people before they leave you helpless and its too late to fix you. Not to mention I was in the trauma section, claimed to be the #1. Number one my ass. More like the last on the list.

In 2011, I was barely able to drive myself to the hospital and was crying in pain as I parked my car in front of the Emergency Room. A kind security guard ran in and got me a wheel chair in order to get me to the sign in desk. I had woke up that morning to get my than 9 month old daughter a bottle, and quickly realized that my legs felt dead. It felt like I had been sitting in zero degree whether for days and the sensation in my legs were continuously trying to come back. It was, hands down, the worst pain I have ever experienced to date. After waiting in "fast track" for 5 hours, a doctor finally saw me. I told him all of my symptoms and he looked as if it was trivial. He said he was going to order an x-ray of my back and get me some muscle relaxers to help with the pain. After the x-ray, he came back and told me that there was no pinched nerve and that I should follow up with my primary care physician on Monday, mind you I had yet to even get the muscle relaxer and I had already informed him that I didnt have a primary doctor. So I had to leave the hospital with a prescription for medication that didnt help and still basically unable to walk. My father picked me up and we went home. The entire night I could not sleep despite however many relaxers I took. Finally in the wee hours of the morning I couldnt take it anymore. I knew there was something seriously wrong so I ended going to Mercy Hospital. It turned out that I had severe blood clotting from pelvis down both my legs. After being transferred to Winthrop it was further found that I had an absence of an inferior vana cava which was the source of the my bilateral DTV, If I had taken the advice of the Emergency Room doctor, I may not have made it Monday, particularly if one of those blood clots traveled to my heart, lungs, or even brain. I thank my God every day that I had enough common sense to go for a second opinion. This hospital is not to be trusted. I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemy. The ER doctors seem more concerned about trauma cases then they do about any other type.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I have a lot of patience and I am pretty laid back. I can deal with snarky attitudes. But from the get go they are nasty. I can deal with it and I gave them all my information and answered every question. I came in because my eye suddenly got red and really swollen. Scared the life out of me. So I sat down thinking perhaps the front desk receptionist/intake person may have had a bad day. I dont get called to take my vitals until an hour and a half later. During that time a kid threw up and the mom forced her way into the back. I understand. That is your kid and you want the best for them. The throw up was left and no one came to clean it. Fine... I understand I am in an emergency room. I then get called to another room. I had my vitals taken and she goes through a HAND WRITTEN list of who is in what room. She says to herself... Hmm 1 or 2 then she goes you will wait outside of room 23. We walk to where the rooms are and wow was I surprised. Room 1 and 2 were open and the rest of the rooms were full and had other people sitting out side. Gurneys were in the hallway with patients and some looked in pretty bad condition. You are talking about a potential 40 people ahead of me and I already waited... At this point two hours. I waited about 6 hours more. Only 3 people left about 10 more people came in. The attitudes from nurses were terrible. Just a nasty place to be overall. Top it off, the three people that left, the bed sheets were just shaken and NOT CHANGED! Please stay away. Use this place as a restroom stop as you continue to another ER room. Lord have mercy this place needs a complete change. Stay away! Stay away! Stay away! Stay away! You have been warned.

Operating just abvove the threshold of malpractice (aka doing the bare minimum) seems to be standard operating procedure here. If you know anyone who is having any kind of medical issue and they can make it to a different hospital then go to a different hospital. The nurses and other staff are extremely rude and apathetic towards patients. They treat you like an annoyance in their day. I had two staff members look at me like I was something they scraped off of their shoe as they spoke to me. They looked and acted identical to the medical staff at Nasaau County jail. The two doctors I spoke to seemed like the lowest quality doctors they could hire. One of them gave information to a family member that was simply incorrect. I had to explain to the young woman (conversation was diffocult due to her thick accent) a certain at home medical process that she completely did not understand. Luckily she did understand what I explained and changed her stance on a dime but she shouls have admitted she was wrong and apologized for the confusion it caused. I witnessed 4 patients lose their temper on staff members in the ER. I figured, since I was one of the only ones being polite, that they would return the favor. Nope. During an attempt to make lighthearted small talk, the head nurse called me a bullshitter. Thanks a lot pal. You just had a 6 ft 6 patient threaten to snap your collegues neck. You ignore that and decide to ridicule the one patient whos being pleasent.
