I never leave comments but because it is so needed. Do not waste your time. My family prev. were " former" patients. The front desk have the lack of common sense with sassy, rudeness that can get under your skin. We have made appts and when we come in there was no appt. made. We have made appts and call to resch. again, there was no apt made. So then, when we ask for names when we sch. appts. they didnt want to give their names. If I insisted the name they would put me on hold come back put me back on hold again. When I come in there would be another dentist there. I would tell ask about my prev. dentist either not in today or no longer there. Without them informing me via mail. I either accept the appt. after waiting nearly an hour. to find out when I get in the room or resch. for another dentist. So I come in and have a whole new dentist putting their hands in my toddlers mouth. The wait is 40-50 but make sure they didnt miss your name. To park is also 30-40 mins because you they are a block near a Queens center mall plus Lefrak City Co-ops galore. So have plenty quarters ready because you will have to run out every hour. Yes, leave your child in the chair to put quarters in again. Now for my husbands issues. They removed his tooth he needed a temp tooth because he did not want to walk around with a missing tooth. They said it would take weeks before the ins would approve a temp and then perm tooth. To get it faster they said he can pay out of pocket that day and our insurance would reimburse them when they submit the bill then the dental office would give us the money. Said they made a note in the chart. Well months went by and we would call, go in, call... to sum it up. They never submitted the bill like they said they would. We tried office manager. He will listen and convenience you he will take care of it.....LIE They are CROOKS!! I have plenty stories but you get the jest of it. Save yourself the headache, trust me!

First let me start by saying Dr. Miner and Dr. Swanson are amazing. That being said- go somewhere else to see them. This place is as poorly run as everyone reports! I had pain after my extraction and came back in. I saw the oral surgeon in the evening on Monday. He called in a narcotic pain medication to my pharmacy and they didnt have it. They cant transfer a narcotic prescription so called back and was told thst the message would be given to the surgeon who had already left. The next day I doubled up on regular pain meds and waited for a call. They never called me back. On Wednesday, I called and the receptionist told me that no oral surgeon was in and that it wasnt their problem. I told them that this was their problem considering they ate the obes who billed my insurance. I was also told that I should just go to the ER. I found that unacceptable and asked for the manager. I was told that the manager was not in and a dental hygienist spoke to me. The hygienist told me that someone would call me back. No one ever did. Thursday doubled up on meds and feeling like the blood clot may have come out- still no one called me back. Now 4 days later I will have to take off time from work to go in and see these people. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau and my insurance company. They have horrible customer service and abysmal business practices. Unless you are half-dead dont go here and even then...think thrice!

Runnnn runnn run!!!!! Worst place in America, feels like your getting your teeth done in a 3rd world country, and there prices are so crazy!!!. I went twice and biggest mistake. First time I went for a cleaning because my old dentist was out of town. I went to elite dental specialist and they said I didnt need a cleaning I needed gum surgery. I was like why and how much. they said because my gums were to deep. So the surgery was 4,000. I said ok next time. So I did the cleaning and they said. No no no you need a deep cleaning with a rare cream for my teeth that cost 300 dollars cash because insurance dont cover it. And thats 300 per section so my worried self paid it and after it was done I felt like crap. So I went to another dentist with great reviews by the way and he said my teeth were great no gum problems I just needed a simple cleaning. Elite dental loves to over charge, tell you, you need a whole lot of things so your insurance cant cover it and u pay out of pocket. Never go. Plus place is dirty and tacky with dinosaur theme all over. I rather get my teeth cleaned by a bum with a shape broken glass bottle he found in a trash can then to go there again. Dont go help ur self.

Went there on day 1, wait for 40 minutes, wait for extra 10 minutes as front desk mistakenly took other peoples profile for my sons. Has X-ray on my childs teeth. My child broke one half of his front tooth, root canal therapy is required. The doctor said he needed to submit the application for the insurance approval. I asked how long it will take, the doctor said will take 4 weeks to 6 weeks. If approval got denied, the fee is $750 for the root canal therapy After 4 weeks, called front desk, asked if the insurance got approved, the front desk said not yet and it is not likely to got approved, and the fee is $750. After another 2 weeks, called front desk, asked if the insurance got approved, the front desk said she will transfer me to the billing office, I hanged up. Today, called Health First and asked them if they approve the application. The representative said there are no records of applications been submitted. I asked how long it will take to get approved, the representative said about 2 business days after the dental office submit everything. Finally, switched to another dental Office.Tried to fill a complain against this dentist, but too lazy to do that

The first time I went to this place was in December of 2015. I got 2 of my wisdom teeth removed in January 2016 by Dr. Swanson. The second time I went was in April of this year to get the other 2 wisdom teeth removed, this time by Dr. Mines. These doctors are amazing at what they do. I felt very nervous in both procedures, but they made me feel very secured. They are so trustworthy. Sometimes, the waiting time is reasonable and others it could be up to 2 hours. The times in which it takes longer is due to the fact that they are dealing with tougher cases. So be patient and understanding. As for customer service, at the moment there seems to be only one receptionist hence she is under a lot of pressure. If she is not helping doctors with forms, she is answering phones or answering questions of patients in the office. If you choose to go to this place try to be seen by either Dr. Swanson or Dr. Mines, they are great! So far, I have no complaints. My experience has been positive, but everyones could be different.
