This dentist office is unbelievable. I am a physician and went to try to get a basic evaluation. He had someone in the office who told you about how they were going to essentially rip you off, but does so "politely." I cannot remember her name, but she is an older hispanic women, youll recognize her when she brings up all of the things they plan on ripping you off with. Let me give you an example: after I got my bill in the mail, I was charged $200 for a basic evaluation, which my insurance covers 100%. However, because of the specific billing codes that this office uses, they get to charge way more for it. That is the sneaky fraud going on in this dental office. I usually do not go out of my way to rate someone, but I want to make sure this person gets absolutely no business at all, because of how criminal and SLIMY his billing practices are. Please do not go anywhere NEAR this office!!

For years I had been terrified of dentists, like most people. Because of that, my teeth suffered, as well as my confidence. I came to Dr. Dechavezs office because I read the reviews that he was gentle, and really took care of his patients. The reviews were right! He is such a wonderful dentist, really works with you on the issues you have, and his staff is wonderful. I had been embarrassed to smile for years, and he fixed that for me. He restored my confidence, and more importantly, he restored my faith that there are great dentists out there! Ive recommended him to all my friends, and my whole family sees him. Thank you Dr. Dechavez and staff for allowing me to smile again!

Dr Dechavez is terrific! Simply a wonderful person and Dentist. Love all his staff except for one lady at the front who claims to be office manager. She is never around or when she is , always on the phone. She takes personal calls while at work, even while attending patients. She is always annoyed, making faces and cant even tolerate a single thing because she will go off. I usually do not write reviews and although the doctor is excellent I felt the need to speak up and let it be known. This lady needs to go, not setting the example of manager and simply not doing her job at all. She never returns calls and is never available to attend patients, this office needs a new manager.

Dr. Gil is awesome! I was just visiting queens when I had so much pain on my tooth! He was advised by a friend of mine and as a dentist as myself I am a bit wary of any treatment.The thing is I went there with no notice at all. The staff was very accommodating of my problem and had my appointment on the same day! Plus the Dr. Gil attended to my problem very well. I said to him Im very scared of needles and if I can choose I would have none of it. And true enough I didnt feel anything! I was very pleased and in the end I even asked for tips on how he did it. It was really an experience. I just hope I could be as good as him =)

Cant say I loved it but as far as dentists go, I can honestly say, you could not do better than Dr Gil Dechavez and his team. Truly excellent (read: painless), professional, and reasonably priced. They have the latest computer analysis tools. He uses only white resin material for fillings, which is awesome. If you need a trip to the dentist, dont delay, bc it only gets worse with time. At present,they only charge $79 for full x-rays, cleaning, and an estimate on the work you need done.

For months I was looking for a very good dentist that could take my insurance and where I would feel happy with the service but I ended with a dental emergency and this place was awesome! They were very professional and friendly on the phone that invited me to try them even if they didnt take my insurance. I have no regrets, I received the care that I deserve. Dr. Dechavez listens your concerns. I definitively will come back and recommend him. Keep it up!

Be very careful, this office is deceiving when it comes to billing. Rip-off way too expensive, they have a sales mgr. who gives you a sales pitch that explains to you one thing and when the procedure is done the price is another. Its a bait and switch business. You have to ask and be very particular of what theyre charging for every step or youll be fooled.

It is a good dentist. I have been using this office for 11/2 year and the staff is very friendly, they have explained the insurance plan that I have thoroughly and they have always charged fairly for the treatments that I have needed. Also my family (husband and son ) are using the same office and they have been satisfied with the services.

Dr. Dechavez is a wonderful dentist. He has very gentle hands and you will not feel any pain when injected. The dental hygienist gives the best cleaning I have ever experienced and the rest of the staff are all very nice. The office is very clean and organized and I would definitely recommend my friends and family to visit this office.
