I have Dr Mallick and have nothing but problems. first because of my health problems he referred me to Dr Tomkins for pain mangerment and that is when the trouble started! On both doctors advice I had a morphine pump inplainted, this let to HELL. In August Doctor Tompkins and his partner Dr U had a fist fight, Dr Mallick told me, now I needed a new doctor. I needed a doctor out of MVP network, I found one myself as the Doctor and his office was of NO help! no one in Dutchess services a Medtronic pump. I did all the work as Dr Mallick was no help. On Friday Nov 13 my pump ran dry, now I have no 11 and a half mg of morphine a day!! I went to Dr Mallick 2 weeks ago to fill out the out of network form. He said MVP would not appoved this (so did not fill out form) and gave me a referral to Dr Tomkins? who he knew was not there, I know this as I was in the room when he made a call. So in the meantime we made sure he did test to make a buck. I was to have a montior put on last Monday, I live 45 minutes away and can not drive anymore so needed a ride. I get there and no one was there to do this. So I went there for nothing. On Thurday I called the doctor as My pump was almost out of morphine. I left 3 messages and no return call. On Friday my wife called the office at 4:15 and was told to call MVP? I did and they said he needed to fill out the form. so here I go again. Today Saturday Nov 13,2010 I had an apportant with him at 9:00am in his Fishkill office to have a test done. He was not there. and calls since Thurday twice a day with yet no replys. I went to Vassar E.R. and they called Dr Mallick and I was totaly out of morphine. I got a very small script for 5/500 Vicodin 1 every 6 hours? are they kidding me, I am getting 11 and a half mgs of morphine, Again I called Dr mallice at 1:30 and again at 2:35 still no reply! I got a call back from the answering service saying I got med? I tried to tell then this was not enough but still the docor would not return my calls. So thanks to his lack of care and concern I m screw! If your thinking of useing the doctor, think twice....

Dr. Mallick is an awesome doctor! The below poster is a former patient who was denied morphine by his pain management specialist that Dr. Mallick referred him to because he was abusing it and was a drug addict. This guy "Frank" is the same weirdo who keeps writing this same story on every forum because hes disgruntled that he didnt get his drugs. Responsible award-winning doctors LIKE DR. MALLICK do not enable drug abusers!!! Besides, he didnt deny this guy morphine, the pain mmgt specialist did, so what is his beef w/Dr. Mallick? People get so angry when they dont get their fix it seems...

Dr mallick has been my personal doctor for many years, Hes an excellent person first and a magnificent doctor second. He really cares about his patients.
