The Agency Allen Home Care, 70-00 Austin Street, Forest Hill 11375, is one of the worst agencies to work for. My roommate works for them and the coodinator Anna, needs to be removed from this job. She is one of the most irresponsible employees working in that office. How in the world your going to give a person a permanent case with a senior citizen, but my roommate was only suppose to work Monday to Friday then on Saturday to Sunday she was suppose to send another worker. My roommate was calling Anna since Thursday to verify if she already had an employee for the elderly man for Saturday and Sunday, because he had already made my roommate aware that if Anna did not send a home care worker to his home those two days he would go to another agency, finally on Friday she answered the phone my roommate made her aware of the matter, Anna probably did not send anyone to the Mans home because today Sunday he called my roommate and told her not to come to his home tommorrow Monday, cause he was going out with his son, when my roommate asked him if Tuesday was ok, he responded that she should call the agency. This is about the 3rd time that Anna does this to my roommate. How come she has her check secure why should she care about anyone elses. Then you call the office and they never respond to peoples calls not realizing it could be an emergency and trying to get in touch with a Supervisor is even worse. The employees working in this office is one of the most irresponsible people their is.

They would get a negative 5 stars from me (not even 1 star because I wouldnt be able to post anything) and from what I understand they are a big company. I have used Allen for the past 5 years between my dad being sick and my mom. The aides were much better with my dad than with my mom. At least the housekeeping part. My mom passed away last weekend and I went downstairs to clean my mom’s apartment it was DISGUSTING. I know that the aides have to do light housekeeping but let me tell you there was oil, grease and dirt everywhere – not only by the stove where you would expect it – and it should have been cleaned up. I spent 5 hours just cleaning the 4 kitchen cabinets and the stove. The walls in the kitchen and the kitchen cabinets on the other side of the kitchen – not near the stove – where all full of grease and dirt. Chocolate on the walls. Open dry goods in the cabinets. I have roaches coming out of the kazoo. I told them all this numerous times but in one ear and out the other. My main concern was the care they gave my mom.

They get 0 starts from me. They are very Incompetent. No one in the office communicates with eachother. They do not introduce themselves when answering the phones. The hold time exceeds 30 minutes, They pick up and hang up on you after waiting past 10 minutes to speak with someone. Your pay is always late, You do not get the benefits they say you will get after working for three months. This agency is by far the worst I have worked for. I have been sent on cases where the client has dropped them because they never sent anyone to care for them when they were supposed to. The coordinators only care about themselves. Do Not go to work for them unless you get the clients number first; call and make sure they want you there because they will turn you away if you get there and they do not know you are coming. You can never reach compliance or any other supervisor for anyting. Terrible agency

My grandma is 89 years old and only about 85 pounds. The aid TAMI LEE MONTIQUE was a young girl who was the night time aid for her. She was giving my grandma two sleeping pills every time she worked so my grandma would be in a dead sleep all night! She would keep it pitch black in the room and close the door! I caught her have a guy waiting outside to come into my grandma house ! And also I caught her down stairs with her feet up on the KITCHEN table and on FaceTime very loud with her friend ! This is horrible that this agency does not do anything about this! MAKE SURE IF YOU USE THIS ANGENCY YOU DO NOT GET THIS GIRL! My grandma has told me stories now that shes is not all drugged up on how the guy was in her room. They were mean to her ! This is horrible how this actually happens to the elderly.

I am very disgusted by Allen Health Care. I worked for them for two months and the experience was horrible. There is no form of communication between the coordinators and the workers. They sent me on several out of borough cases, which all failed to show up. alot of unnecessary time wasted, which all could have been resolved with just simple communication, which the have no sense of. If you are looking for a job please let Allen be your last choice.

This agency has the most unprofessional staff i have every came encounter of!!!!!! The coordinators are not informative. None of the staff communicate with eachother. They do not appreciate their employees.i personally know patients that have left this company and no longer get service from this company. Dont waste ur time working for them

This agency provide the most hopeless and unprofessional service. They consume all government funds themselves. The aides never stay longer with this agency. The agency failed to know how to manage time and the relation with the employees. Government should cancel their license and bar them to get another license.

The pay is horrible. Some of the staff are unaware of their own company policy and some are down right rude. The in service is long the teacher is disrespectful. They love to tell you how important you are but yet they pay you less then a living wage.

Horrible agency they never answer the phone and when they do they dont know what theyre talking about or their rude half the time the home attendant never even shows up but theyre still getting paid by the insurance company

Suck. They dont allow change the information online or by phone. Their website dont even have a place to login in. What a trouble for those people never writer letter.
