been going for 3 years and have never done a proper cleaning! first time the tech takes xrays, scrapes around a bit says i have paradental--was not so, was not approved saw the dentist adout a molar and was sent to a dental surgeon. second time tech scrapes around and says i have gingivitis -saw dentist and had cavities filled. third time for "cleaning" again tech scrapes and pokes around says i have gingivitis again. i have never had a proper cleaning and i never get how people will say you have this or that and dont explain what it is and what should be done so to me its just like the doctor telling me i have high blood pressure and throws the #s at me as if i know what it means-what is considered good or bad, what to do about it. yes i am ignorant, no i did not expect to have to go home and google it. no need to wonder why people fear doctors.
