My 5 1/2 year old daughter has major sensory issues with her mouth and we realized (after many, many failed dentist visits to other dentists) that she needed to be sedated to have her cavities filled. By the grace of god (seriously!) we were referred to Dr. Cohen. The idea and process of oral surgery can be overwhelming but was made 200% better by Dr. Cohen and her team. They were SO attentive and genuinely cared about not only our daughters anxiety, but ours as parents experiencing surgery on our kid for the first time. My daughter had three teeth pulled and spacers placed in her mouth and came through it all so easily and was at school the next day. Thank you Dr. Cohen for your abilities as a dentist, surgeon and for your true care for your patients and their families.

My son was terrified of the dentist due to a very unpleasant experience with another dentist. Dr Cohen was recommend by a parent. I explained to her my concerns when we found out he had extreme crowding and needed 4 teeth pulled. I was very nervous for him. Dr. Cohen made both of us feel at ease and so comfortable. For the first time my son enjoyed a dentist visit. Dr. Cohen made sure he was comfortable through out the whole procedure. All 4 teeth were pulled out with no "Drama". Im so glad that I found a great dentist like her ,that all my kids love. She is terrific and I will definitely recommend her to any parent, especially the ones that have children who are terrified of the Dentist.

Dr. Cohen is the perfect combination of understanding and patient yet firm when working on my daughter. She allows my not so cooperative daughter feel heard, but her gentle manner made my daughter understand that she had to comply for her own good. Dr. Cohen also allowed and even encouraged me to be in the room to make sure my daughter was completely comfortable. Dr. Cohens diagnoses are on target, not overly aggressive or laissez faire. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone with children use her as their pediodontist.

I was concerned about how my preschooler would handle his first visit to a dentist. i decided at the last minute to make an appointment for my 2 year old at the same time so that they could have their first dental appointment together. I was so grateful that Dr Cohen accommodated a last minute appt request. It was a thoroughly wonderful experience - Dr. Cohen was so gentle and patient , she gained the kids trust and cooperation in a pleasant way. Her love and commitment to taking care of kids shows!

Really happy and satisfied family! Im a dentist myself and dread bringing my kids to the dentist since they seem to have sensory issues anytime a dentist puts something in their mouths. Dr. Denise was patient, and calm the entire time and my kids were able to get through the appointments without a hitch! Beautiful office, great staff, tvs in each room and a prize at the end of the appointment makes coming here every 6 months so much more fun! Thank you Dr. Denise!

We just brought our three year old (apprehensive) son to Dr. Cohen for his first dental exam. Dr. Cohen was so calming and gentile, he felt comfortable with her from the minute we walked through the door! After his exam, our son was so excited to tell anyone who would listen about his "sparkly white teeth!" We 100% recommend Dr. Cohen for not only her ability but her gentile nature and passion for working with children. She is a true professional.

Doctor Denise Cohen treated both my daughter and my son. They had multiple cavities on their baby teeth and both were quite intimidated from the idea of treating them. However, Doctor Denise completed all treatments needed in only 2 sessions and in such a patient way! Thanks to her pleasant attitude, the kids cooperated, and what was thought to be a nightmare ended easily. I highly recommend having her as your kids dentist!!

Just got home from another wonderful check-up. This doesnt mean my 3 year old wasnt afraid, or didnt squirm or want to run. It means Dr Denise was patient ,calm ,and sensitive. She talked to my Daughter ,explained what was going on etc. She takes her time and is never rushed. In addition the office is clean, staff is nice, and I can get in and out of the parking lot with ease.

What am amazing Dr. and staff! My 5 year old said Dr. Denise is her fav Dr. - that is huge coming from a kid. A very inviting office, friendly and warm reception, flexible hours, parking, short wait time and most importantly, a Dr. that smiled and patiently answered every questions from a very inquisitive 5 year old. Weve seen Dr. Cohen for check-ups and for emergencies. She has a lovely calmness about her, which is great for both me and the kids. X-rays and procedures are done as quickly as possible and professionally, all while meeting the needs of my kids while theyre in her chair. The staff has been great too. Very professional, and sweet with the kids. The office was very clean.

My daughter is uncomfortable around new people. Dr. Cohen was very playful and comfortable with her. She was sensitive to her needs and explained everything she was about to do and joked with her. Of course, it did help that she had a giant trunk filled with goodies. Lastly, Dr. Cohen was helpful in explaining to me how to best care for my daughters teeth.

My son is 2 and does not love being poked and prodded. So it was so great to have Dr. Denise work with him! She very calmly and gently worked with him through his crying until he could calm down. By the time we were done, he didnt want to leave. He still mentions her some times when he brushes his teeth with the tooth brush she gave him :-)

I couldnt imagine using anyone else as a dentist for my girls. She made them feel comfortable from the minute they walked through the door, explaining what was going to happen in kid friendly words and easing any fears of hey had. Her expertise and up to date practice ensure my girls are in the best possible care!! Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Talking to a local community member how he took his daughter to a dentist to have a tooth removed and the shot hurt her and she felt pain....... Should have gone to dr Denise.... Took my daughter to have a tooth removed and it was painless. Zero pain, daughter didnt even know she got a shot!! Good dentists cause no pain! Thanks Dr Denise!!!

I never thought bringing my children to the dentist could be such a fun experience. Dr. Denise was really patient and sweet with my children. She made sure to make them feel comfortable and safe before beginning the exam and she ends the experience with a prize and a dental care package. Cant say enough about Dr. Denise, truly five stars!

Such a wonderful experience with Dr. Denise! Dr. Denise came in after hours to see my daughter after she had a fall and broke her tooth, made sure she was alright and put my husband and I at ease. She was so kind, gentle and patient. My husband and I, who both work in the dental field, have the utmost trust and confidence in Dr. Denise!
