During my first visit everything went very smoothly, the staff were exceedingly polite and professional. My appointment was for 10:10am and I was done by 11:30am. It went by super fast. The second time I came back for my follow up appointment also at 10:10am. However, this time I had a completely different experience. Firstly, the receptionist wasnt a pleasant person to speak with, no greetings, no please and thank you. Whatever its not that important I could live without it. Secondly, I waited 1 whole hour to be called in for my first visit. After my vitals were taken I was waiting in the common area for another 2 hours before they called me in again. Thirdly, there was another patient who lost his keys, but he didnt know exactly where so he was looking for it everywhere. I waited 10 minutes for the commotion to be done and the Nurse said I could go ahead and change. So, as per instruction I was changing and I hear a knock on the door I said occupied but this guy just walked in looking for his keys! I mean what kind of place allows other patient to just walk into random prationers room!!!! The guy got embarrassed and left in a hurry but the staff never even apologized instead I kept on waiting for another 30 minutes for the nurse to even show up again! I mean the whole experience was a circus. It was ridiculous. Ive never experienced such unprofessionalism in any other place. By the time I was done with my follow up appointment it was 2:15 pm. I was there for 4 hours! Just waiting to see someone. So people dont get tricked by its new shiny appearance, if you want a smoother service I would suggest going into a different location instead!

My regular OBGYN no longer takes my insurance, so I went to PP LIC. From beginning to end, this was a great experience. When I asked if I could take some LGBT pronoun stickers for the students I work with, the women at the front desk who was very professional told me to take them all and asked if I needed other stickers, such as "safe Space" stickers. Info was taken in a quick and orderly fashion, my wait time for exam rm was probably 5-10 minutes, exceptional for NYC, And the PA, I think her name was Crystal Garcia was nice, professional, thorough, non-judgemental, and gentle. I waited a little for the nurse practitioner, but the exam was quick, she was professional, and gave good explations. I would definitely go back, recommend, and Im even thinking of upping my $10 a month donation to $20. #IstandwithPP

This facility, like all other Planned Parenthood facilities, is a treasure. One of the few clinics covered by medicaid that makes you feel like you are worthy of healthcare despite your economic status. The facility is clean and the staff professional. If you get here on time, your wait time is short. Your records are kept organized and updated. The health care professionals are extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and non-judgmental. All my questions are answered thoroughly and I always leave here feeling empowered and educated enough to make smart decisions about my own reproductive health.

I have been going to this clinic for a little over a year now. The staff is very professional and friendly. The facility is clean, comfortable, and looks nice. The only reason why they received 4/5 stars is because the wait time is pretty lengthy as mentioned in other comments. It usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours just to get called into the exam room and the staff is so busy that you will only see a doctor for short period. I do wish I could spend longer consultations with the physicians but they always seem so busy. I would recommend you plan ahead for a long wait.

Ive had a couple of procedures done here and every time I swear something goes wrong! I got my iud put in on april 12.. today I went in because I can no longer feel the strings. They neglected to see me even tho In the pamflit they gave me it states I should come in if I dont feel the strings as it could be misplaced. Which is extremely dangerous.Their answer was I can wait till end of July to be seen by them or go to the ER. Do not trust them find another center or a gyn who will actually take their time and take care of you.

I had a 330pm appt to pick up birth control, and waited over 2 hrs bfore my name was even called. Then the process toook another hour. The worst part, walk ins were seen before i was, people who came after me where left before me, clean and beautiful facility however service scheduling and wait time is the absolute worst. I will never go back there, and would advice others to just elsewhere unless ur a person who doesnt mind a long wait.

Super fast! Of course I had an early appointment. Receptionist told me it was going to be a busy day and from what Ive read the wait can be brutal. I suggest, if you can, go in first thing in the morning. It was empty when I came in about 9am and I was done in about an hour and a half, and that included a visit with a financial counselor! New, well kept, beautiful place. Friendly, helpful, excellent staff. Definitely going back.

I had an appointment at 11am to get an IUD placed in and Ive been sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half. I asked at the front desk in the beginning if they were running behind so that I could gauge my day..( I have class at BMCC). She said not really. After an hour I asked about my status and she replied you are next. 40 minutes later, Im still here waiting.

Excellent and modern new facilities. More importantly, excellent staff - from the receptionists to the medical assistants to the doctors, everybody was warm, non judgmental, and top notch. Ive only had one visit, but I would definitely visit again, and highly recommend to anybody seeking reproductive services.

My girlfriend had an appointment at 1PM to switch IUDs and we are still here at 3:48PM... PP is amazing and I support them with donations hence the five stars. This is mostly just a warning for those who may have plans later in their day...this is ridiculous...

Inviting & comfortable atmosphere. Staff are warm and compassionate. I was a walk-in trying to get the Depo shot but there was no availability until August (hence 4 stars as oppose to 5); so appointment made!

Horrible, they keep you waiting 20+ minutes to then tell you they cant take care of you and re schedule. Like I dont have a life. Slow people and I paid the consequences. Horrible experience.
