At first we found banfield great despite the poor services and waiting for scheduled appointments. Also helped it was affordable and very near to us. However, recently my family and I had to put our dog down because he had spleen cancer. The sad thing is that we had to go to another vet for diagnosing him and putting him to sleep because Banfield refused to see our dog. In addition, one of the many symptoms of Spleen cancer is anemia... anemia cant develop overnight that would mean our dog had it for awhile and NOT ONCE has Banfield, out of the many urine and blood samples and checkups we asked for, ever detected it. And keep in mind we visited frequently not carrying about the cost to provide the best medical treatment for our dogs. Furthermore, We always asked about why his gums and ears were so pale or why he hesitated to exercise and his lack of energy, which are symptoms of amnesia, and they would say its normal even when we provided blood samples due to our original fear of it being lime disease. Now, we are not angry at them for the death of our beloved partner as that was out of everyones control, but we are angry about their ongoing negligence. Its horrifying and heartbreaking for myself and my family to think that our best friend has been pointlessly suffering for who knows how long while we were oblivious to his pain. He just turned seven years old. Please, dont go to Banfield our companions deserve better.

I brought my 13 year old cat to Dr. Blackler at Banfield because he had been losing weight. Her staff did a thorough exam and she checked him out even further and recommended a blood panel thinking his thyroid was the problem. She and her staff were very caring and laid out all the possible options and expenses for me and I was very pleased with the visit and care. The results came back quicker than they promised and I was able to get him started on his thyroid medication quickly. Their prices are very reasonable and they did not push other treatments like Ive experienced in other animal hospitals. They even cut his nails for me and it was not added to the bill. I will be back with my other pets! I really cant think of a negative other than the short wait to see the dr. But I have waited longer at other places.

Together for the life of your pet? More like together for the love of your money We were caring for a very elderly, very skinny dog with severe allergies that was out of food. Banfield didnt have that particular formula, but we found someone that did. The original prescription from the dogs vet was already torn up in the trash, but Banfield had a copy faxed to them. We asked if they could fax it to the veterinary group that had the food in stock and the woman responded with "were too busy and thats not my problem". We then explained that the dog was very old and just about out food, but she told us "I dont care". Real nice, Banfield. Real nice.

One of the worst people to work with. Not only my dog didnt get his paws treated that I told them to look at, but now after a ruse and uncaring conversation with the supposed manager has told me not to bring my pet there anymore. How is it that your people that didnt do their jobs my fault. I even apologized to her, but I wanted to explain to her the situation that I was in and why I was so upset. Then she just kept interrupting me and hanged up.
