For the past year I have been in and out of the dentist working on fixing my front tooth which I had pulled for a reoccurring infection. During this past year the dentist at the Vanderbilt Clinic at Columbia university dental have put me through a horrible experience. There was one occasion where they gave me 8 shots of anesthesia in my mouth since they werent putting them in right. After which it took 3 days for swelling in my face to somewhat subside. They also chipped a tooth that had nothing to do with the process. They have canceled and delayed my appointments on numerous occasions. At the close of the process now they are charging me an additional $1200 because the people they have handling money are incompetent and cant comprehend what, "pay in full" means. In short I would never recommend the dentists at the Vanderbilt clinic to anyone as the entire organization from top to bottom has completely failed to provide me with adequate treatment for a simple extraction and implant. Please share and tell those you know to never use Columbia dental.

Not even worth a star. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is the slowest possible service. The worst possible office managers who try and bully you into staying with the clinic. I recently received a bill in the mail for a crown I never received because the dentist had told me that Id have to have a crown lenghtening done. Well, after I went to get a second opinion and found out I wouldnt need a crown lengthening I called them and this woman spent the next 25 minutes trying to explain to me that I was responsible for paying for something my dentist f-up on. Its a seriously unethical place that preys on the poor of NYC. If you are looking for a good and affordable dentist on Manhattan might I suggest dentista of el barrio.

My experience here was horrible!!! I was assigned an orthodontist that was reckless with his instruments and repeatedly hit my teeth during appointments. I also had instances where i will make appointments with him, and my appointments would magically disappear from the schedule...and I was never notified about it. My orthodontist ended up disappearing and never returning back to work...and i was assigned a new orthodontist. The service was poor and they are down your back about keeping up with payments. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Columbia needs to work on improving the service they provide to their customers because right now it sucks! I give 1star

Dont know, never had problems after not going to dentist for 20 years. I came here last year, now I have bad breath, bone loss, and my teeth are falling apart. May the Lord punish all the wrongdoers, and supporters of wrongdoers who continue to climb by killing and stepping on the dead bodies of poor people. May Gods smile blind and burn you all on the day of resurrection!!
