I do not do Google reviews, but for patient safety and experience, I decided to do one. My visit could be summarized as: Unclean. Rude. Dishonest. Overpriced. Unprofessional. This was the worse experience I’ve had. I feel ripped off and as if I dealt with dishonest people. The staff was very unprofessional. If they weren’t making fun of customers, they were joking and watching Youtube videos. Using the eye equipment and tests, I felt as if my health was not a priority. I never saw anyone clean or sterilize the equipment before or after. When I asked questions about my insurance coverage and what I had to pay, the frontdesk woman wasn’t able to answer them. She would get angry and say that’s what the computer says and if I had a problem, I can contact my insurance or use another provider. I feel as if I overpaid since what my insurance says I should pay and what I paid is hundreds of dollars more. It was a bad experience. I do not feel comfortable going back, and on Monday, I will call my insurance to see if the 2nd part of my eye exam can be done by another doctor. I do not trust Dr. Diana Li. I asked her for my pupillary distance which has been provided by almost every eye doctor I have seen. She told me to ask the front desk who didn’t provide it. They told me to talk to an untrained sales person. After I asked for a written policy, the manager gave me the pupillary distance. The machine he used was also not sterilized either. It’s very unfortunate because I at one time had good experiences at this location, but that was years ago. My fault from returning. My advice? If for whatever reason you have to use this facility, Ask upfront for the total cost of the visit. Ask for a justification for everything you’re being billed. And ask the staff to sterilize everything with you watching – even if they said they did. It’s your health and you are going for healthy eyes, not an eye infection.

Staff was courteous. Doctor was very professional. Unfortunately I was promised something that wasnt delivered after they got my business. What I bought from Lenscrafters: Lenscrafters at Manhattan Mall 901 Avenue of the Americas # 205 New York, NY 10001 Burberry glasses with progressive / new transition lens for both distance and reading. Prescription seemed challenging. Different diopters for each eye, lenses would need to take care of multiple vision issues. After being informed that their lab in the premises would be able to manufacture my lenses on the same day according to the prescription they provided to me, I went ahead and purchased the above described glasses. Unfortunately, when I returned to the store later on to pickup the glasses the staff "double checked" the glasses and told me there was a defect in one of the lenses. I was surprised that defective lenses would be detected by the staff selling the glasses instead of the lab technicians. Would that mean the floor personnel has more technical knowledge than the technicians working at the lab? Or maybe the lab production is not reliable enough and the sales team has this mission of saving their customers from using bad glasses? Maybe someone would think they just told me they had the required lenses in stock to get my business. I prefer to think that this was just an unfortunate event. But, here is my story for help other prospective buyers of Lenscrafters and, why not, the store management to improve their service quality of their lab. Lets not forget glasses and lenses bought online would be much cheaper. When someone pays full price at a company such as Lenscrafters, quality should not depend on chance.

I had just started commuting and working in the city about 6 months ago and was in desperate need of an eye doctor close to work. I was able to quickly make an appointment online and was seen the next day. Dr. Vu was thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. She was beyond exceptional. The office staff was also very friendly, welcoming and helpful. My insurance wasnt so clear with what was and wasnt covered, but they took the time to call and confirm prior to billing. Overall great experience and would recommend for sure! I didnt have the time that day to look at new glasses, but I remember the quote for contacts sounded high, but again, Im not too sure. They say that they do price check everyday and will match the competition, so if this is true, it is definitely worth it!

Ive been meaning to write a positive message for this doctors office. My wife and I visited New York last month and as luck would have it she gets an eye infection on our second day. We were happy to find this was across the street from our hotel and the staff courteously worked her in with very little waiting time. Fast forward the next morning and her infection was like nothing had happened! Really sweet doctor and pleasant staff. They saved my wife from being miserable the rest of the trip and we were able to enjoy New York like we wanted.

Today I went to LensCrafters in Manhattan Mall to fix my new frame just few weeks. They are the one near my office and I believe they are big brand in NY, will have a professional service. But totally bad service. They scratch my frame and the lens as soon as they do the fixing. Their frame w/lens is not cheap (frame+lens $750.00), most of the people thing they will have good hand on the product. Totally wrong! Dont thing about pay your money in this store.

Awesome in a pinch! I managed to chemically burn my eye on my first day in the city, and they got me in within the hour. Everyone was very nice and the office is well located. Im from a college so far out of town that my insurance wasnt accepted, but what I paid was very fair for what I got out of the appointment!

They were amazing! I needed new contacts ASAP and came in as a walk in, they quickly took care of me! Had my exam and left with new contacts. Very sweet doctor and super friendly staff. Happy I found a new eye doctor in the city

You can get the best glasses here. They have the best prices and selection. You can pay more elsewheree, but you cant get more. Not to fancy but better than all the reast. Tried Pearl and they stunk.
