Dr. Gerard was extremely helpful during an emergency situation related to a severe eye injury. My husband injured his right eye doing some yard work and instantaneously went blind. The pain was unbearable so we called our optometrist, Dr. Gerard, who immediately got in touch with a colleague that was able to see us right away. My husband was rushed into surgery within a couple of days to repair the injury. Dr. Gerard continued to check on my husband’s condition and proceeded to recommend Dr. Wnorowski to further repair his eye. If it weren’t for Dr. Gerard’s efficient actions and determination to care for my husband, the necessary treatment would not have been completed in a timely fashion and he may have lost his eye sight entirely. We would definitely recommend Dr. Gerard to anyone looking for a new and dedicated optometrist!

I’ve been taking my elderly mother to Dr. Wnorowski for a few years now and from the first day the experience has been wonderful. Anyone can do check-ups and follow-ups, but here, the staff obviously cares about the patients. They recognize that they are dealing with people with individual needs. The amount of compassion, professionalism and patience exhibited is genuinely expressed and freely given. They not only attend to my mother’s eyes but they have added to her quality of life. I can’t express my gratitude and appreciation enough for the Doctor and his staff. My mom is always happy to see them and I am always confident that she is in the best hands. Thanks Doc. I recently had cataract surgery on both of my eyes at the surgery center in Toms River. The experience was extremely comfortable, the staff was friendly and made me feel at ease. . I did not experience any discomfort during the procedure and when it was completed I was offered cookies and juice. I would like to thank the entire staff at the surgery center and also at the office for the care that was given from the first appointment to the getting glasses to use for driving. I highly recommend Shore Eye Associates and as I have told many of my friends that if they go I will go with them and hold their hand. Thank you

My experience at Shore Eye Associates, in Toms River was amazing. Dr. Wnorowski, his staff in the office and surgery center are true, caring professionals. They went out of their way to ease my fears, explain everything, readily answer all my phone call questions and took the time to keep me calm and reassured. I went from cataracts, astigmatisms, nearsightedness and tri -focal progressive glasses to crystalens lenses and 20/20 vision!

Recently, I had my cataract removed in my left eye and had my vision corrected for monovision ( left eye for close)! The right eye was done two years ago & corrected for distance vision! Dr. Wnorowski performed my surgery & I am extremely pleased with my results! I highly recommend Shore Eye Associates for cataract surgery, because they are the best!
