I had a great experience at Eye Contact Vision Center in Jersey City. From the owner of the business to everyone who works at Eye Contact Vision Center it was a very professional and helpful experience. I first called to make an appointment and they were very professional when making an appointment. When I walked in to Eye Contact Vision Center the place was very nice and very well decorated. During my appointment they took me right away and I met with the Optometrist. The Optometrist was very thorough with her examination and she explained her findings to me. I then met with the sales person and she was extremely helpful. The sales person explained the different frames, the prices of the frames and the process of making my glasses and when I could expect to receive my glasses. The sales person helped me pick out a really nice frame. After I put a deposit down about 5 days later I received a call that my glasses were ready. When they called to tell me that my glasses were ready I happened to be on vacation and they said take my time and when I get back to stop in and pick them up. The best part was the Owner, who is one of the nicest people you can meet, oversaw the whole process. I even asked the Owner if I wanted a separate pair of sun glasses made with a certain blue lens that has helped my eyes in the sun she said to bring the color blue in and she would speak to her lab to see if she can have that made for me. My overall experience was excellent and I highly recommend Eye Contact Vision Center in Jersey City.

Never go there. Doctors and staff needs to know about patients privacy law. Doctor keeps the door open so every one outside can hear your medical problem. Front desk staff have attitude problems and most important they over charge people. They make it seem like they are giving discount but in reality they are cheating you. First time front desk staff increased retail price of lenses and then she said she will give me 50% discount. I thought I was getting good price. When I saw the bill at home, I realized she never considered $179 insurance benefit. I was suppose to get free lenses with Insurance, but instead I was charged $60.00 more than I was suppose to pay with 50% discount. When I went there next day to discuss this over charge, she agreed but then she charged me $60.00 copay when my copay was only $25. Worst place to go.

Very unsatisfied. There are only eye technicians. No doctors at all. The stuff are rude and lack of professionalism. My first time experience was to get information and I was not served at all. Only one young person in the front with different duties at the same time- This might be the first cause of a very poor customer service. My husband decided to have my daughters eye exam there and it has been about two weeks that we are still waiting for her contact lenses. They did not have the sample lenses the same day of the exam. They ordered both, sample and actual lenses and it results that they just got the actual lenses before the sample lenses for her to try. It all starts by $39.99 and the bill ends high without the service of a doctor and at least a good service.

La calidad de los lentes es de lo peor en menos de 6 meses ya no sirven y eso que uno paga para que le hagan la proteccion en contra de ralladuras. pague $ 460 y ahora tengo que usar los mismos lentes que he tenido por 10 anos.

Horrible experience. Bought glasses for both near and far sight. Two weeks later they called me to pick it up which I did only to find out that they dont fit me nor could I see anything through them. 2+ week later I went back to get a new one which was better but not what I paid for. Not only it is loose on my face I do not see that good with them. My head hurts when wearing them. I am tired of these people, wasted $200 on a horrible looking glasses. Never visit here!

The staff is horriable they make you wait they dont care as I see it this place has bad reviews and the way the dress being professional is horriable u work at a respectable place not a strip joint or go go bar...went in to make an appointment i waited almost 20 mins I walked out oh and one thing I hate they act like you aint there! Switching eye doctors for both me my husband and children tis one is worth the distance but if I have to travel then I will!

Excellent service and also great pricing. I had an issue with my prescription, which their optometrist fixed, and also wanted new glasses and new lenses with my old frames. I was able to get all of this done relatively easily. Unlike certain other stores, chains really, that I have been to in the city, the overall experience here was very positive and I will return in the future.

They are horrible .. they charged me for thinning my glasses and gave me this thick one;s. and then they got the balls the tell me thats what i ordered paying 170 those people deserve to be close ...they act all sweet to rob u silly.. and the bad part is that they are getting away with this crime with the oldest that dont understand the functions of eye glasses...

My experience with them was good as well recommended others as well until this time , very disappointed first I felt I was rushed by doctor for my prescription as well they need to learn about HIPPA law . Doctor as well staff needs in service up on doctor patient privacy. I ll never go to them again, they just lost 3 other patients with me as well.

The girls at the front have no knowledge of HIPAA Laws. No Receptionists should tell other clients who have appts at their office and for what and the time. Their attitudes are beyond unprofessionalism. The owner should train his employees in confidentiality and how to be more professional.

Its been almost three weeks that I ordered my glasses and still havent gotten them..its ridiculous I have never had to wait that long to get my glasses...this will be my last time going to them..they just lost another customer..smh
